I hear the ice cream truck's signature jingle and begin to run to the corner where it's parked, August slightly dragging behind.
After racing to the corner, I find myself waiting for August to catch up.
When he reaches the corner where I stood he looks at me like a little kid and then rolls his eyes as he speaks to the ice cream man.
He gives me mine and he returns with a plain vanilla cone.
