Harry: You're reaching for the last bowl of Sheppard's pie in the dinning hall when another hand touches yours while reaching for it. You look up at a curly headed, brown haired boy dressed in black trainers and a Manchester United shirt who has a sheepish smile on his face. He pushes the bowl towards you, opting for something different as you thank him. You see him everyday for the next week, his green eyes watching you from his seat amongst his friends in the dinning hall. On Sunday, he finally makes his way towards you as you dump your food in the trash, hands in his pockets as he asks if you want to meet later that day for dinner. That night you learn his name is Harry Styles and he's studying history. He hopes to be a university professor one day and while he plays soccer, he doesn't feel he's very good. You watch him one night as he plays football with his friends; it's been almost a year since you're first date and you've been going strong even since. You have one exam left until you're university graduates and you're spending your night on the football pit for one last hoorah. He's laughing and you've never seen Harry so carefree and relaxed and it makes you incredibly happy. The next week you stand side by side for pictures in your gap and gown and as you watch him speak with your father, you've never been more excited to start a future with someone than you are with Harry.

Liam: "So... you want to be a doctor?" you question your lab partner as he finishes up his part of the work sheet for your organic chemistry lab. "Yeah... I was born with a kidney condition so they had to take one out. I was just a kid and I didn't really understand what was happening when I went to the hospital but my pediatrician was really awesome so I decided that was what I wanted to do" Liam explains, flicking his wavy hair from his eyes and you nod. "I just want to be a housewife and I figured nursing would be a good back up plan" you explain awkwardly and he chuckles. "At least you have a backup plan" he offers, signing your names to the top half before handing it in to your professor. "Would you like to have lunch, maybe? If you aren't busy" he asks and you look down at your watch. Your next class isn't for another two hours so you agree and follow him down the street to the small deli he works at. "Maybe we'll end up at the same rotation?" Liam asks over lunch and you smile. "I hope, then I'll know someone there at least! I start my clinicals next week," you explain and he nods. "I don't start medical school for another year," he says and you spend the rest of your time discussing your plans for the rest of the semester. You continue to meet for lunch after every lab and those lunches turn into dinners and before long, you're dating. You watch him graduate from medical school, a small diamond ring sparkling in the sunlight and a small bump hiding beneath your dress.

Niall: You're struggling in your math class when a blonde haired boy offers to tutor you before the next exam. He's incredibly smart, able to sit patiently with you as he repeats the steps to the math problems the professor assigned. His name is Niall and he's Irish, studying music engineering. He's in his last year, taking the only math class he hasn't taken and it just so happens to be the one you managed to test into. You spend your days in the library, sharing snacks and coffees. Even after you've passed the exam, you continue to meet in the library and before you know it you've been practically dating for a year. After he graduates, he remains in London to be close to you until you've graduated from nursing. Afterwards you move to Ireland with him and live in cozy apartment on the outskirts of Dublin. You find yourself engaged and married before you know it, all without Niall even properly asking you on a date.

Louis: You had had your eye on him since the first day of class. But he was all the way across the room and there was no way he was going to be your Spanish partner when it was time to switch on Monday. You thought about who it would be all weekend. You really didn't even want a new partner. You had spent a month getting to know the one you already had. So when Monday came back around you dreaded walking in the door. Your professor showed you to your new seat, it had your name on it but it was too small to even try to read. You counted the rows to see which person on either side of you would be your partner. To your right, the person on your right was going to be your partner. You looked on the card of the empty desk and barely made out a T and then an L. You struggled to remember the name of the guy you had been eyeing since the start of class but nothing was ringing a bell. Soon he walked in the door. "Louis let me show you to your seat" the professor said. Louis, that was his name! But what was his last name? It didn't matter because within seconds he was sitting beside you smiling. You smiled back but turned your head the other direction to catch your breath. What was happening? YOU....YOU are the one that gets the hottest guy in the class as a partner. How does this happen. You had been in school for 16 years and this had never happened, not once. The first thing you were to do with your new partner was to introduce yourself and tell them about yourself. "Hi, I'm Louis." He begins "(y/n)" you whisper, his blue eyes swallowing every hope you had of acting normal. He begins to tell you everything about him. Where he's from, his family, and what he's going to school for. You follow up with the same after having time to compose yourself while he was telling you his life story basically. Before you knew it class was over and you were out the door with a grin from ear to ear immediately on your phone texting your best friend about how you of all people were the one to land the hottest guy in the class. This was going to be the best semester of Spanish you'd ever had.

Zayn: Eight am had been a lovely time to pick up such an important class. Grammar was your hardest class as well as your earliest and you dreaded it every day. The people in the class were amazing and you loved them all, mainly because you had been with them every year at university because you were all English majors. You all were like a family and even though it wasn't always the same people in every class the family bond was still there. Your midterm was this coming up Thursday which left you one class, this one, before the test. This was the class you wanted to ask all the questions in because if you didn't ask them now, you certainly weren't going to get it for the test in two days. "I don't get any of this." The guy beside you, Zayn, says looking at you with his deep brown eyes in a moment of confusion. The two of you had set beside each other all semester and got to know one another quite well and you were the only one he talked to. But you weren't any better at grammar than he was, or so you thought, so you were confused when he spoke up. He never spoke up in class so you knew he wasn't going to be the one to ask the professor about his confusion. "What don't you get?" you ask him trying to get him rolling over to his side of the table so he could show you what he was talking about. You actually understood what he didn't but knew that you wouldn't be able to explain it well enough for him to understand. You raise your hand and ask the professor to explain what you couldn't because you were the one who "didn't understand". After the professor was finished explaining your question you thanked him and slowly looked back over to see if Zayn had caught on. He was smiling. "Thank you for that."
