Prologue
"Totoo ba ang sinabi niya?" I was shaking badly as I wait for his response.
"Ella...I-
He tried to reach me with his hand but I took a step away from him.
"Don't 'Ella' me. What I want to know is the truth. Totoo ba ang sinabi ni Arvin hah? Totoo bang ikaw ang pumatay sa kanya, Lei?" I asked him with my coldest tone.
I badly want to know the answer, to hear him deny what I just heard. For him to say that it was all just a lie but then he just stared right back at me with pain visible in his eyes. Uttering words I didn't expect to hear from him.
"I'm sorry." that was the only words he said as he turned his back on me and made his way out.
Lei apologized.
Leaving me hanging as tears started to fall down from my eyes.
