Chapter 45: Fool

"Come with me. We're getting out of here." Eunice stated and I silenty agreed. 

It's not like I have any choice. Hindi rin naman ako pamilyar sa daan pabalik.

Tahimik akong sumunod sa kanya habang pinagmamasdan ang paligid.

Isa isa kong binasa ang mga pangalan na nakikita ko. Hanggang sa may makita akong isang pamilyar na pangalan.

It was Eunice inside the car saying 'hop in'. Agad akong sumakay sa kotse pero nakatanaw pa rin ako sa puntod na yon. Hanggang sa pinaandar niya na ang kotse.

Napailing ako matapos maalala ang isang tao.

Kapangalan lang siguro.

So in the end, I decided to just wash it away from my thoughts.

"Where are you taking me?"  I asked Eunice who's currently driving our way to who knows where.

"Headquarters." She replied shortly.

My forehead creased in confusion.

"Why?"

Why is she taking me to their headquarters?

"You forgot your bag. Masyado ka kasing nagmamadali." My eyes automatically widened after hearing her answer.

That place was their headquarters? Moreover, I forgot my bag f*ck.

I mentally cursed when I realized she's right. Why the hell did I forgot such an important thing?! Damn it!

"We're here." She parked the car and went out. After taking my seatbelt off, I dashed my way then followed her.

Hindi ko mapigilang magalala. Lalo na't dalawang importanteng bagay ang laman ng bag na yon. Ang journal na binigay ni Don Castelveltrano na sinasabing pagmamayari ni Mama at ang susing binigay ni Kuya na siyang iniwan sakin ni Mama noon.

"Eight nakabalik-

He stopped the moment he saw me with her. "You came with her?" He asked as he gazed on me from head to foot.

I did the same.

This may sound funny but I actually find him cute and pretty. Cute because of his height. He's kind of short for a boy. Pretty because he had girly features which made him look somehow feminine.

"No choice, Six. They're using the Villa she's staying at." Eunice answered back in return.

Hindi ko mapigilang mapakunot ng noo. Ginagamit nila ang Villa ni Lei? Sa lahat ba naman nang lugar na puwede nilang gawin yung meeting bakit doon pa tss.

"I'm Six by the way. You are?"  Looks like he's done from scanning my appearance.

"Ella Park." Bahagya pa siyang nagulat pero agad din namang tumango pagkatapos.

"I see. Nice meeting you, Ella." He stated as he turned his attention back to his computer.

"Hey Six, have you seen the red bag?" She asked as she looked around the place. Nakakunoot pa ang noo niya habang sinasabi yan.

What the? Hindi puwede!

"Don't tell me you can't find it?!" My tone raised a bit which caught both of their attention.

"What red bag? Wala naman akong nakitang ganon, Eight." He shrugged then he shifted his gaze from Eunice to me."Is it yours?"

I nodded in return.
