...you and Sherlock walking through the streets of London, in silence, hand in hand and close to each other to gain some warmth in the cold weather of England. You two walk fast since you both wanted to get home as soon as possible. But then... something made you suddenly stop. You didn't let go of Sherlock's hand as you pushed him towards the little antique shop. Sherlock asked what you were doing but you didn't answer. Instead you looked into two black eyes. The eyes of an adorable teddy bear.

A woman was already closing the shop but you stopped her. 'Ma'am? How much for that adorable bear?' You asked politely and pointed at the fluffy animal. 'You're not actually thinking of buying that, are you?' Sherlock asked you but you ignored him, totally enchanted by the cute creature. The woman smiled at you and you followed her into her shop. It was an expensice bear, but you bought it anyway.
'Is it really worth that much money?' Sherlock asked as you walked further, now with the soft teddybear in your arms. 'Yes,' you said, 'it is. Look how adorable it is! I'd prefer a bigger one but wel... Why didn't you buy it for me? As a early birthday present or something...'
Now imagine Sherlock talking with Lestrade about the earnings he'd get for a case. He doesn't want the money Lestrade offers him, but instead he wants a huge, huge teddybear. Imagine Sherlock asking for that straight-faced and imagine the funny reaction of Lestrade!
Not long after that, the day had finally come; it's your birthday. You wake up and beside you lies the biggest teddybear you've ever seen. This one (on the right):
