Staring into strangers' eyes, smiling over that cute guy. Sipping on my pumpkin spice, I can taste all the lies. Breathing in, breathing out, I belong in the crowd, silence fills my brain, enough to resonate the pain.
I feel hollow when I hear them scream, I feel lonely as I glance on my screen.
I can hear the sound of the gunshots, I can feel the fear of the targets, I can sense their cries for help but I'm stuck here, still stranded.
