Danny's P.O.V
So it has been a few hours since we found out Ella was missing. We phoned around but no-one had seen her so we decided to get the police involved and they were on their way over, Jess was silent.
"Jess she will be okay" D
"Danny you don't that, you don't know where she is, you don't know who she is with, this is all our fault" J
"Jessie we can't blame ourselves and don't stress yourself out it's not good for the baby" D
"Danny I don't care about the baby, I want Ella home" J
"Jessie you don't mean that" D
"Yes I do, maybe another baby isn't the best idea for us" J
I am shocked with Jessie's comments she is the most caring girl I know and this is so out of character but it's kind of understandable giving the circumstances. My thoughts are interrupted with a loud knock on the door. I go an answer it and I see 2 policemen and I welcome them in and they take a seat.
"Sir, Madam I'm PC McDonald and I am led to believe that you want to report a missing person" P
"Yeah that's right" J
"Well can you talk me though what's happened" P
"Well this morning I went through to wake Ella up but she wasn't there so I came downstairs but she wasn't in the house so I phoned everyone we know and nobody has seen her" J
Jessie is in tears now so I take her hand and squeeze it to reassure her.
"Right can you give me a description, age and what she was wearing" P
I decide to take over as Jessie isn't emotionally stable right now.
"She is 4, she has brown hair down to her shoulders with a full fringe, she is pretty slim and has brown eyes and she was wearing peppa pig pyjamas and her dressing gown is gone and also her red wellies" D
"Right okay thanks, I will start a full investigation on this but you have to stay home as she could come back but I will keep you posted on any developments on the case" P
The officers leave and I go back to comfort Jessie on the couch.
"Baby you have to believe me we will find her" D
"Yeah we might find her dead" J
"Jessie don't speak like that you can't give up hope" D
"Danny you hear stories about this on the news everyday that little children are sexually assaulted, beat up or killed" J
I just hug Jessie even tighter just thinking about anyone doing this to my baby kills me.
