The members all participated in the survival show Produce 101. The show ended in April and I.O.I was formed. However, 5 girls caught the attention of fans and their popularity eventually led LOEN to decide to debut them (all members were in the top 22). Their name means Il-Ban-In which means ordinary people. The group promoted under LOEN but the members remained under their respective companies. Like I.O.I they were a temporary group and disbanded after a year.
