Day6 was originally called 5live when they had five members, but changed their name with the addition of Dowoon. Their first concert "D-Day", sold out within 5 minutes. In February 2015, it was revealed that Junhyeok would be leaving for personal reasons however the group name remained the same. They are JYP's first rock band. They produce all of their own music, compose, and write the lyrics. Wonpil, Young K, and Sungjin also composed UP10TION's 'Stuck on You'. All the members are close friends with GOT7 and they like and look up to Coldplay, One Republic, U2, and Maroon 5.
