They originally debuted as a 5 member group called SIDA under 2L Company. The name SIDA means S (sparkel) I (imotal) D (delight) and A (all). Prior to debuting the group was a dance team called TwoL composed of rookies, which had a sexy concept and went through several changes in formation and members over the years ranging from four to seven. In February 2016, Arin and Yoori left and were replaced by Hyeona. In April they changed the name to ICIA and Seonmi and Yeri changed their stage names. In 2017, members Hyeona and Seona left and were replaced by Yeowoobi and Hari. Backjo left the group in October 2017 and was replaced by Switch's former member Duyoo (Hyokyung).
