⬜ Let someone else go first

⬜ Pick up litter

⬜ Defend someone that is being bullied or being gossipped about

⬜ Forgive mistakes

⬜ Give an extra tip when you go out for dinner

⬜ Create a holiday to celebrate someone you love (ex. BananaPieLove Appreciation Day)

⬜ Tell the truth

⬜ If you have to correct someone or address a mistake, be sure to sure point out something that they did good as well

⬜ Learn and try to remember everyone's name (everybody is important!)

⬜ Offer a ride

⬜ Pray with a hurting friend

⬜ Say good morning/afternoon/night to everyone

⬜ Be someone's cheerleader - encourage their dreams, help them reach their goals

⬜ Say "I'M sorry." or "I love you." not just "Sorry." or "Love you." and say them more often (trust me, it makes a world of difference!)

⬜ Offer the plumber, electrician, painter, etc. a drink while their working

⬜ Be kind to yourself - do something just for you! You matter too!

This list may seem long enough already, but guys, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to little acts of kindness. There's so much more that you can do to brighten someone's day! And remember...

-No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Your smile goes for miles and miles! So...

You should listen to this song... to the words. It is You Cannot Lose My Love by Sara Groves and it was written from the point of view of a mother to her child about how you cannot lose your mother's love. My female choir is singing this for CPA (Choral Performance Assessment, it's basically where you go and sing and some judges grade you (1, 2, or 3) and you also do some sight reading... Yep.) and I like to think of it as God singing to me because we cannot lose His love. Nor can we gain it. God's love does not wax and wane like the love of humans. His love is constant and never changing. Be grateful for that and share His love with others through your acts of kindness!

Speaking of mother's, mine has shingles and is in an EXTREME amount of pain. Doing just about anything hurts her even worse, especially driving, and this pain has the potential to last up to eight weeks, so if you don't mind, some prayers for her would really be appreciated! Eight weeks, five kids to take care of, and a mommy who can't really drive much... it's not going to be easy, but she's strong and God is good!
