Emma

"Liam! What the hell happened?" I scream through the phone at Liam's prolonged silence making Niall jump and me breathless.

My heart accelerates with all the possibilities, my once calm exterior thrown out the window as I breath heavily down the phone. What happened?

"Emma you need to listen. Something happened and I think you should come back but I don't want to hurt you any further." But then he clams up again.

"Well you should have thought about that before you called Liam now just spit it out!"

"I'm so sorry, maybe you're right."

This only confuses me even more. Not to mention fuels my anger towards him. But I don't know what's winning, my confusion, my anger, or my deep rooted worry. It's the last won, it's barely even a competition.

I need to know what's going on with Harry.

"Bullshit, tell me what's going on or I'm hanging up Liam!" Calling his bluff and hoping beyond hope that he won't decide on the second option.

"Alright alright Parker, stop yelling. I'll tell–" but he's interrupted by some commotion that I can't clearly hear.

Liam and whoever just caused the noise mumble to each other and I have a dreadful feeling that whats going on is this other voiceless person is telling him to keep whatever Liam called to tell me in the first place.

Wonderful.

I swear if Liam doesn't start talking soon I'm going to explode.

"Uh... I shouldn't, just forget I called." Well that's a stark contrast from a moment ago.

"Excuse me?" I hiss back at him.

"Emma I'm sorry, have to go." He tells me hurriedly, now wanting me gone.

"No Liam, what's changed? What's going on?" I asked hectically, my entire body shaking.

Why won't he tell me anything? What's happened? Is Harry okay... oh god, I shouldn't care!

"It's nothing, Louis just walked in."

Louis? What the hell is Louis doing there?

I thought Louis lived in London? Why would he be in Oxford? I know he's Harry's best mate but there aren't many scenarios that would send Louis there.

Something's happened. That's the only possibility.

There is no other option, something has happened to Harry and now Louis is there to make Harry see reason. But what happened?

"What's Louis doing there?" I ask quietly, scared of his answer.

"Sorry to bother you Emma."

"No! Liam don't you dare hang up!"

"I'm sorry" he whispers and the line goes dead.

I'm terrified. I'm angry. I'm hopeless.

Why is Louis there? What happened to Harry?

Somethings up and once again no one is telling me a damn thing.

The tears are coming, I can feel it.

I race to the bathroom, suddenly feeling like I'm going to be sick, and slam the door behind me effectively blocking out Niall's worried protests.

Unable to keep it all in anymore break down. I slide down the wall, my thoughts only on Harry.

Is he okay? I mean if something really bad had happened they would tell me, right?
