We'll galvanise the village
Oppose their dreadful plan.
We can't be doing with that here
We'll fight it to a man.
They haven't thought of traffic.
Be longer in the queue.
We're all upset, we'll have to fight
What are we going to do?
What about the doctors?
What about the school?
The plan is really bothering us
It really is too cruel.
It's shocking and it's dreadful
They haven't thought it through
It's such a pretty village
And they're bound to spoil the view.
How dare they say they'll build new homes
That people will live in?
It's bound to really spoil the view
Oh what a shocking thing!
