Christmas Limericks

Three wise men from the East
Set off in the hope of a feast
But it was more than a King
They found at the inn
And so their joy increased.

Some Shepherds in a field
Saw angels and were afeared
But don't be afraid
The archangel said
And they were glad that those angels appeared.

He came to save us from sin
But there was no room at the inn
Poor Mary a stranger
Put her child in a manger
Nowt else she could put him in.

And now we're singing for joy
At birth of that little boy
So let's all join in
And make a great din
For soon it will be Christmas Day.
