'Beware false prophets' the bible says.
You will surely know the ones.
We certainly know they're not from God
If they show up bearing guns.
'Beware false prophets', the good book says,
'You will know them by their fruit'.
We'll always be sure they're not from God
The moment they threaten to shoot.
Now different men have different Gods
And some men they have none
But wise men know if there's a God
In him all things are one.
When evil men blow things apart
They may do so in God's name
But evil comes from human hearts
And God is not to blame.
It is the very worst of sins
To take God's name in vain
And twist the word of God to mean
That others should be slain.
