Why do Shepherds fall in fear
When sweet young girls like you appear?
You tell them not to be afraid
But who'd be scared by you young maid?
I'm sure when angels first appeared
They were much scarier than you.
Have central casting thought things through
To send sweet angels such as you
To rouse the Shepherds from their nap?
Gabriel and his angel host were chaps;
Beefy, great big scarey fellows.
Why would Shepherds be so yellow
To take fright at sweet little you?
