"Blue. What's yours?" I responded.
He chuckled.
"Mine is blue too." he answered.
"You sure your not saying that just so we have something in common?" I asked.
"No, trust me. So... do you have a boyfriend?" he asked.
I thought for a little bit.
Why does he want to know?
"Yeah... I do." I lied.
"Oh... Well, I was gonna ask you out if you didn't have a boyfriend but-"
"We can still hang out. As friends... that is." I interrupted.
"Yeah, we can. Why don't we go to the movies? We could go now."
"Sorry, I have to go shopping with my friend... But maybe we could go after?" I asked.
"Sure, that would be great. Tell me what time." He said.
"How about 8:00 tonight? I want to eat dinner before we go."
"8:00 is great." he chuckled.
I laughed.
"Ooh, you're next." he said pointing to the cash register.
"Oh, yeah. Finally."
I walked to the lady at the cash register.
"Hello, welcome to Starbucks. May I take your order?"
