You were directly looking at the girl's back who was sitting in front of you.
Her short, green hairs were falling down to her shoulders but you could see a little part of her bare neck.
You heart was beating loudly and fast that it could almost break through your chest.
You think that every one of yours classmates could hear that loud heartbeats of yours.

(l/n) (f/n).
15 years old.
A third year student at Kunugigaoka Middle School.
An ordinary middle schooler.
However, currently, she has a problem.
She a crush on one of her friends, who is also a girl.

I am just looking at her back right?!...

Why my heart is beating this fast?...

Just stop already...

I said that I can't love her!...

You blush and look down at your notebook.
You continue writing down the things Koro-sensei has written on the board.
You feel someone is poking your shoulder.
You look back to meet with Nakamura's eyes.

"(f/n)? Are you okay?"
She whisper to you and you whisper back to her, while trying to fake a smile.
"Don't worry, I am okay..."
"But y-"
"Nakamura-san! (l/n)-san! Are you gossiping without me?! Sensei is hurt, you know?..."
"Why do you think that they will let you to hear their gossiping?..."
All class laugh together, including you.

"So~ What is the matter (f/n)?"
You look up at Nakamura, who was standing next to your seat.
"I said that nothing is wrong Rio..."
A petite girl turn to you with pair of green worried eyes.
"What is wrong (f/n)-chan? Are you sick? Or not feeling well?"
Your chibi form inside of you was fainting because of the cuteness.

Don't do this to me my little angle~!...

Please don't give me any hope anymore~...

"Your face is red (f/n)-chan... Do you have fever?"
"I-I don't think so! But I will just go and rest in the infirmary just in case! Tell Sensei that I am at the infirmary!"
You stand up in an instant and run off from the classroom.

Both Nakamura and Kayano look at the door, confused and worried.
"I wasn't able to tell to her..."
Nakamura look at Kayano.
"What were you going to say to her anyways?"
Kayano blush and look down.
"Actually today..."
"Hmm?"

You were laying on the bed in the infirmary. Koro-sensei once came to take a look at you and let you rest for a while.
You were staring at the ceiling, then you sigh.
Seriously, it was really hard.

Even though love isn't something depending on gender neither the race...

She still would be disgusted by my feelings...

Wouldn't she?...

You felt like you could almost cry, but you were able to stop yourself.
You know that your feelings weren't going to be mutual, but still, imagining wasn't going to hurt anyone, was it?
You sadly smile at yourself, thinking about the pitiful situation you were in right now.
You slowly close your eyes, falling into a deep sleep...

You open your eyes slowly, and see that the sun is already setting.
You stand in an instant and look around you. You see a little note on the desk next to the bed you were sitting.

Dear (l/n)-san,
It looks like you need some rest so I won't wake you up.
But please go back to your house as soon as you wake up!

You smile and stand up. You exit from the infirmary and when you were heading to the class to take your bag, you see two families figures standing at the backyard.
When you notice who they were, you kneel down quickly so they wouldn't see you.
You take a look at the people and see that they were really Kayano and Nagisa.

What are they doing there?...

And why am I hiding anyways?...

You crawl under to the one of the open windows to hear them.
"Nagisa, I..."
"What is it, Kayano?"
"I-I know that it is pretty sudden but... I really l-"
You cover your ears with your hands quickly.

I don't want to listen anymore...

You run to the classroom, your hands were still covering your ears.
Finally, when you enter to the classroom, you uncover your ears.
You quickly take your bag and exit from the room.
You run towards the gates and when you were going to run pass the doors, you hear someone calling out for you.

"(f/n)-chan?"
You freeze with shock and turn back slowly.
Kayano was standing there, smiling with a blush on her face.
And next to her, Nagisa was there.
You shyly smile at them and wave, ignoring their connected hands.
"Sorry! But I have to hurry! Enjoy your time!"
You turn back to the stairs and climb them down while running.
You feel that the warm tears are falling down from the corner of your eyes.

You heart was breaking hard and it was really hard for you to breathe.
But still, you didn't stop running until you arrive to the end.
You couldn't help but be sad, you could feel that your heart has broken into pieces, almost like a glass fallen to ground.

I knew that it was probably going to end like this...

Even though I knew, still I can't help but be sad...

But still...

You stop and take a look at your behind. You smile and wipe off the tears on your face.

"Congratulations, the person I love."

Even though I have entered to winter holiday, I couldn't bring myself to write, since I was so into relaxing.
