Chapter 3

-Karma-
That's weird.She's not answering her phone,And School has already started..

I was planning on walking to school with her today.
Well,I'll just ditch school and visit her..

I took out the paper which included her phone number and her adress would be there too...

I quickly scanned my eyes on the paper
Ah,There!

-Nagisa-
"Ouch..."

I winced in pain as I got out of my bed,Every move hurt and I can't even walk properly,I feel like I broke a leg or something..

I put on a blue long sleeved shirt and tugged the sleeves down.I'm hiding yesterday'a cuts and previous ones,with all my other injuries and cuts.
I looked at the mirror and put some concealer,again,on my face,hiding the bruises.It took awhile but now my face looks okay,like it's normal,Like nothing had happened.

I walked down my hallway only to have my eyes landed on an piece of paper

Nagisa,

I didn't wake you up for school since your door was locked and you probably didn't want to see me yet.I'm leaving for a business trip,I left some money in the jar.Use it for necessary uses.There's also food in the kitchen

P.S don't leave the house unless it's for meeting your mother other than that,inform me first or you'll get and earful after I return

I threw the paper away and pretended like I never saw it.I reached for the cabinets for a cup of Ramen.I finally got it and began opening the cover,I poured some hot water in it and let it be for awhile before adding the seasoning.I took the chop sticks out of the plastic and placed the food on my dining table.

I began eating the ramen when suddenly the doorbell rang.I took a slurp before rushing to the door,thinking it was my father

"Did you forgot something,father?"I said,not realising the person in front of me

"Father?I didn't know I was your Daddy,Nagisa"

"K-Karma?C-come in!"

He took off his shoes and walked in my apartment.

"Why aren't you in school Karma?"

"Speak for yourself too,Nagisa.You're not in school either.I've been calling you countless times and you didn't pick up even once,I got worried since school already started and decided to come check up on you."he said as I closed the door shut

My face had a tint of pink.
He was worried?
I mentally shook my head,denying.I was probably hallucinating

I went back to the dining table and continued eating my unfinished ramen.I was eating it when suddenly Karma sat infront of me,his right hand resting on his face and he gazed at me.His actions made me nervous and I gobbled up the ramen and quickly finished it.

I threw the cup away and walked in my room.I placed a dark red jacket and wore a pair of black colored jeans.I took my wallet and unplugged my fully charged phone.

"Nagisa,where are you heading to?"

I took out some money from the jar.Enough to buy flowers and a meal for two later.

"Oh,I'm visiting my mother.Wanna follow?"I said as I put on a white colored high-cart converse

I tied my short but kind of long hair to a low ponytail.

He stood up abruptly and quickly put on his shoes.The both of us left my apartment,me locking the door.

"Nagisa?Where are we heading to?"He asked me again

"To my mot--"

"No,I mean,where exactly?"

"The hospital."

"The hospital."She said

H-hospital?Why is her mother in the hospital?
