"I-" I was cut off.

"Would you like to explain where you were," my mom asked assertively.

I started, "Well, there was this party, and-"

"Party," my dad started. "and I wasnt invited."

Well honestly I was a bit shocked at his reaction but I guess I cant complain. "Sorry, maybe next time daddy," I laughed nervously.

"Dont you think she should have some type of consequence Stan?," my mom yelled.

"Now honey, dont you think the girl is going to go to parties. Shes a teenager. That's what teenagers do," my dad said.

"Well I suppose," she sighed. "Your off the hook, for now!," she smiled.

I ran up to my mom and kissed her cheek, "Aww, thank you, thank you,"

I went up to my room and called Austin. Hopefull he to didn't get in trouble.

I dialed his number and it ranged 2 times before he answered. "Hey Missy,"

"Hey Aus. So what'd your parents say?," I asked laying back on my bed.

"Im not in trouble, you?,"

I smiled, "Me neither,"

"So you wanna do something today," he asked.

"Sure,"

"Great. I'll be there in an hour,"

"Okay cool," we hung up.

Well I guess it was enough time to eat breakfast and get dressed. *beep* "Ooo a text," I spoke lowly to myself.

Aus: Dont eat breakfast yet. I'll buy you some.

Me: Sure thing

I took a shower and washed my hair. I wore khaki colored skinney jeans that were folded a little above my ankle with a floral cropped top that was spigetti stringed with lo pro black and white vans. I was dressed a little early with 15 mins to spare so I decided to put on make up. A little mascara and eye liner wouldn't hurt.

*ring ring* "Hello, okay i'll be right down,"

I sped down the stairs, "Im going out!," I yelled before going out the door.

I saw his car and go in, "Hey," I kissed his cheek. "Hey bud," he smiled before pulling off.

"So where to," I asked.

"I was think maybe Denny's and then Disneyland, if you want,"

I smiled, "yeah sure,'

We arrived to Denny's and saw Vic with his brother Mike. I saw Austin tense up as he opened the door for me.

"Aus. whats wrong," I asked him.

"Nothing," he smiled looking down at me. "Two," he told the waitress

I thought about last night before we walked past Mike and Vic, "Hey guys," I chuckled.

"Sup," they laughed.

The lady led us to our tables. "Hello my name is Holly and i'll be your waiter today. Can I start you off with some drinks," she asked opening a notepad.

"I'll have Orange Juice,"

"Okay hun. And how bout' you sir,"

"Same as her,"

I spoke up, "Actually I think im ready to order. I'll have fried potatoes with bacon bits and waffles."

"And you sir?,"

"I just take a BLT,"

"Okay, coming right up," she smiled.

"So what was the balling up of the fist thing before we walked in?," I asked putting my elbows up on the table.

"When I saw Vic, I instantly thought about you and him kissing at the party."

Ohh yeah, "oh that was nothing," I shrugged. "Why? Do you not like him,"

"Actually I dont like the fact that he was kissing you," he mumbled. I looked back at Vic and frowned.

"I like you Nicole, a lot,"

"I, I dont know what to say," I stuttered. "I-,"

"And here are your drinks," the waitress said placing our drinks in front of us. "Thanks," I smiled.

"Austin I-," Vic interrupted.

"So what are you guys up to today," he grinned. "We're on our way to Disneyland after this,"

"Really, us too," Vic assured. "Awesome," I nodded while smiling. "We actually just finished eating but we'll wait for you too to finish eating. Okay?," I nodded, "Okay," he walked away.

I turned around back to Austin, "Okay Austin, tell me," I took his hands into mine, " What. Is .Wrong,"

"Its just that, I wanted today to be just me and you. "And here you go," the waitress said giving us our food.

We are in silence. You could feel the awkwardness in the air.

After we were done eating we were ready to go to the theme park.

"So let's go, you ready," Austin asked getting up.

"Yeah, let's go!," I said excitedly. "Oh they're still here," I smiled.

"You guys took long enough, we were gonna leave you," Vic yelled out the car window.

"You should have," Austin mumbled his breath. "Austin," I glared. "What?," he raised his hands up.

"We'll meet you guys there," Mike said.

" Before we go, I have one question to ask you,"

"Okay shoot,"

"Will you go out with me? I just had to ask you before Vic got to you,"
