A/N: We're moving ahead here because while I could have wrote a little tidbit for the rest of that arc... it would have been like three paragraphs. And yup, another Emi chapter. You'll notice that the story will start to learn more towards Emi chapters than Eri chapters from now on, as her story needs a lot more development. I mean, have you seen her mess of a love life?

P.S. I had half of this written like... a week ago, but I've been obsessively trying to get a certain scene in this chapter right, which is why it took so long to get out. I had to give up on perfection XD You'll understand what I mean when you reach the scene. It's hard not to obsess over scenes like those.

That next weekend, I honestly wasn't surprised to receive a phone call from the twins about our dinner plans. Between me avoiding explaining why Kyoya was rather pissed at me and my attempts to intervene in Eri and Kyoya's interactions, the twins had cornered me at several points during the week to remind me that their dinner party was the following Saturday. So, them calling me on a Saturday morning made sense.

What did piss me off was the timing.

"Why the hell are you calling me at six in the fucking morning?!"

"We're bored," Hikaru complained.

"What does that have to do with me?" I demanded. "Go play with yarn."

"Nah."

There was a faint beep on the line and I frowned, glancing at my phone. Had I hit a button?

"So, you're coming over, right?" Kaoru added.

Ah, no. It seemed the dumbasses had decided to make it a three-way call.

"What about the word, 'no,' do you two not understand?" I demanded.

"All of it," Hikaru replied.

"At least you admit it," I retorted.

"Of course."

"So you're coming?"

"I'm no--"

"Good! We're on our way!" Hikaru cut in.

"See you soon!" Kaoru added.

I stared, dumbfounded, at my phone. Seriously, did those twins have a hint of common sense in their entire body? Groaning, I drug myself out of bed a second later and began examining my closet. I needed something that could work for a dinner party, but was functional enough to last until the evening. Eventually, I'd settled upon a simple, navy-blue sundress and comfortable ballet flats. I'd just begun playing with my hair when a knock upon my door warned me about the arrival of the twins.

Had they already been in their car when they called me?

"I'm getting dressed," I lied. "Stay out of my damn ro--"

"No you're not~"

Hikaru appeared in the doorway, that grin on his face. I glowered at him and pulled my hands from my hair long enough to hold up a fist.

"What if I'd been naked, dumbass?" I snapped.

He shrugged.

"We could tell you were lying," Hikaru said.

"Is that what you're wearing?" Kaoru added.

I narrowed my eyes, crossing both my arms over my chest.
