CHAPTER 2

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I woke up from my bed and stretched my arms up high as I yawned.  I had to call my dad to clean the cockroach on my bed, it annoyed him when I was screaming everywhere.

I realized that I had to really clean my room, crumbs and mess everywhere.  I yawned again and stopped my alarm.

8:00!!!!????

Shit!I'm gonna be late for my first day at high school!!!

I threw myself out of my bed and bristly opened my closet.
A large mountain of clothes fell on me. I searched for my uniform and hurried to the bathroom for quick bath.

I was fully dressed and went downstairs, seeing my father reading a newspaper at the dining table. I'm gonna go straight to the point, my mother passed away from an incident a year ago so I am left with my father. He works as a doctor, he always wear a white coat as he wants to be "cool". I placed my bag beside my seat and grabbed cereal and milk.

I did all of this in a fast motion like I am Flash. I checked my phone and I panicked even more.

Wait.....Dammit! I forgot something that I shouldn't leave. I ran up the stairs and opened my door. I looked for it in my dirty room. I heard a ring. I thought I was mine but it was somewhere at the kitchen. It's dad's so I continued to look for my item. I pushed some books away until I finally found it.

It was a handmade bracelet. I picked it up with relief and wore it on my right hand. I thought I lost it. It was precious to me. I remembered someone gave this to me in my childhood life so I kept with me all the time.

I headed to the stairs but before I even step the steps of the stairs, I heard Dad's conversation. It was not quite....related to his job, he was talking to a woman as I could hear a women laughter on the phone. Wait what...

Did he just said marriage?

He really moved on that fast after Mom's death. I kept my mouth shut and clutched my hands. She died last year and you're doing that now...I was mad but I slowly cooled down. I headed downstairs. As soon as I reached down, he bristly switched off his phone and smiled at me. I walked passed him and grabbed my stuff. I didn't look at him and headed to the door.

"Akira",he said to me politely as I stopped.

"What is it...Dad?",I looked at him, I wanted to show him how angry I was but just showed a sweet smile.

"Can we meet after your school? We could meet each other at your Mom's favorite restaurant?, it's near your school right?".

"Yeah sure..",I looked away and opened the the door."See you later..". He waved at me as I closed the door.

As soon as I turn, I started running. I checked my phone, I was close on being late. I put back my phone and used all my energy to head to my school. I panted as I ran on a long pavement and found the school to be in the distance. I'm nearly there.

I was heading towards the gate, there was a road across it.

I looked right and left at the road, I looked right again and noticed something.

It was whimpering.

It's a dog or ummm wolf?

It was crawling on the floor and shivered with pain. It rosed up and  dashed while looking down when it suddenly bumped into a pole. It suddenly fell on the ground, whimpering more . It was a red furry wolf. I looked around to notice no one is around. I looked back the injured wolf and gasped.
