It was already eleven o'clock on Tuesday night meaning everyone eating at you family restaurant had left. Today, your siblings gave you the job of closing up. You turned the 'open' sign around so that the 'closed' side was showing if someone were to look from the outside. Just as you were about to lock the door, you noticed someone running up to the door.

He knocked on the door for you to open it and you thought about it. What if he's a killer? But what if he's just some guy who wants food and doesn't want to stand outside in the rain? Wait is he wearing a suit? You open the door just a little bit so that you can stick your head out.

"Can I help you?" you ask him cautiously.

"Hi okay so today hasn't been that great of a day." he stops, expecting you to let him in.

"Continue." you say and he breathes in then resumes speaking.

"Okay so I basically lost a game tonight, well that's not new, we've been playing pretty bad lately. Anyway then I decided to walk home from the rink and then I realized that I left my keys in Connor's car, Connor is my teammate by the way, Basically, I have no way into my apartment and I'm stuck out here in the rain and my phone is dead and i am just really hungry. So can you help me out with the last part?" he finally finishes speaking and you blink a few times, trying to process what he just said.

"So, you're telling me that you're not a killer?" you question him, narrowing your eyes.

"W-what?" he says, out of breath.

"Never mind. Oh yeah come in." you tell him as you open the door fully so that he can walk in.

"Sit down wherever you want and give me a second, let me bring you a blanket and a charger." You walk towards the back and find a blue blanket and you grab your phone charger from the counter. When you walk back you see him with his hands around his mouth, trying to get some warmth. You hand him the stuff then he immediately finds an outlet to put his phone on charge. He sits back down and wraps the blanket around himself.

"Do you want some tea or coffee? Something to eat?" you ask him.

"Can I please get black tea if you have that and what can you cook?"

"Yeah of course. Well I like to think that I make an amazing mac and cheese?"

"Krafts mac and cheese?" he asks, cracking a smile.

"Whaaaat? No. Okay, yes." the two of you start laughing and you walk behind the counter. You pour water into the kettle then turn it on. You grab a mug and place the tea bag in the cup. Once the kettle turns off you pour the boiling water into the mug then hand it to him, also giving him sugar so that if he wants, he puts it in the tea.

"Thank you." he mumbles and you go into the kitchen to start making the mac and cheese.

"(Y/N)!" you hear him yell.

You walk out of the kitchen, "how do you know my name?"

"You still have your tag on." you look down to see your name tag still on you then you look back up at him, motioning him to continue. "Why did you let me in?"

"Well I went over the possibility of you being a sociopath in my mind then decided that you were wearing a very expensive suit so maybe I can make some money out of you. That is why I let you in." You said trying to keep a straight face.

"Seriously?"

"Nope. I knew who you were the second I opened the door."

"Hockey fan?" he asked while taking a sip from the mug.

"Yeah, did you happen to look around this restaurant by any chance?" she said pointing at the posters and framed pictures of various hockey players that were hanging on the wall.

He stood up using one hand to hold the blanket around him and the other to hold the mug. "Gretzky, Howe, Robatille, wow did all these players come here?"

"Yeah. Wait hold on I'll be right back." you went into the kitchen to see that the macaroni was cooked, you strained the water then mixed in the cheese and you divided it equally into two small bowls. You left the kitchen then placed both of the bowls on the counter.

"Okay, sit and let me explain, cause I can tell that you want to hear a story."

He sat down and placed the empty mug in front of him then pulled the mac and cheese close and started eating.

"My family made this little restaurant over a hundred years ago. At the time it was the main place hockey players would come to eat before and after games and it started with Bobby Orr cause I guess we were family friends. We had really famous players eat here all the time, our family got so close to the teams and players were we would invite them to our house.

"Anyway, Gretzky was always here after games, before games, sometimes for breakfast, and he would always eat here before a road trip, claimed its good luck. Even after he got traded to the Kings he would come all the time and bring teammates with him, they would sign posters and stuff. So my grandpa was probably the closest to them and when he passed away they had a huge dinner here, everyone you can possibly think of was here, which explains that giant picture over here," I say pointing to my right, "I didn't know my grandpa, he passed before I was born, but yeah some of them still come around here once in a while."

"That is so cool! Your family knew freakin Bobby Orr personally! I would kill to be up on this wall with all these amazing players." Leon said in awe as he twirled the chair around the room.

I grabbed a polaroid camera and said, "turn around, we're taking a picture." I clicked the button and the flash went off and soon enough the picture came out from the bottom. A minute later the picture was in full color and I handed him a sharpie to sign it. After he signed it I grabbed the picture, wrote todays date and the time the picture was taken then placed it next to the rest of the polaroids.

When I turned back around, Leon was looking at me intensely. "Can I help you?"

"Oh uh never mind."
