Performing - Part 3

Sam's POV

After deciding on what to sing if we got through, the conversation topic quickly changed to ice cream.

"I want ice cream." Jamie said so matter of factly.

"I really want mint chocolate chip ice cream." Emily sighed. I laughed

"I want chocolate ice cream." megan yelled, causing her to earn stares which she ignored.

"I want, I want, I want but that's crazy!" I sang softly, the girls laughed, they really like one direction.

Then a stage manager walked up to us. "hey guys, because we are running late, we'll tell you the results now." she chirped before glancing at her clipboard,

"Okay so some bands including TheGeeks and Power of 4 left (A/N made them up.) hmm let me see..."

James grabbed my hand,i gave it a reassuring squeeze, he smiled at me, which I returned as we averted our attention to the woman.

"Looks like you are through! congratulations! you'll be on in ten minutes, don't be late!" she sing songed before walking off to deliver news to the other hopefuls.

"AHH I can't believe it!" James cried as he hugged me and spun me around, I giggled before he finally set me back on my feet.

"GROUP HUG!" Jamie screeched as we all hugged with grins on our faces. Jamie somehow fell on the floor before jumping up and brushing himself off as if nothing happened, I laughed.

"I wanna rub it in Claire's face we got through but looks like she did too." megan informed us with a hint of anger and sadness in her voice.

I looked and saw Claire and her so called friends celebrating, Claire noticed my gaze and gave an evil smirk, I rolled my eyes and looked at my friends.

"We need to ask Shane and his band if they'll help for our next song!" Emily told us, we nodded.

After standing still and exchanging glances Jamie sprinted off, with us hot on his heels as we followed.

I ignored the protests and screams of people we pushed past along with their comments calling us all immature and idiotic.

"YOLO!" I screamed, causing James to laugh as he ran besides me.

Jamie suddenly turned to the left, we instantly followed and stopped by Shane.

Before any of us could speak to Shane, Jenna, Michael, josh and max, we got our breath back whilst they stare at us, holding amused expressions.

"Hey guys! can we ask a favour?" Jamie pleaded.

Jenna nodded "what is it?"

I then explained "can your band play for us while we sing? we're on next?"

"Sure!" max agreed with a nod.

"WAIT! we can't have all six of us sing, who's gonna sit out and play with the band?" Blake pointed out.

"I don't mind, I will control the video and that, it's all good!" Emily suggested.

"Are you sure?" megan asked raising a brow, Emily nodded with a serious expression.

"Okay it's sorted." I said relieved.

"Wait, what song?" josh asked curiously whilst flipping his drum stick in the air.

"One Way or Another by One Direction." James told them.

"I always knew you had a soft spot for them." Michael teased.

"Shut up." James grumbled.

"Lets go!" megan yelled as we raced back to get on stage.

Once we got there, the stage manager greeted us with a smile. "good luck!" she told us, handing the microphones and ushering us on stage.

"We're baaaaaaack!" I yelled causing the audience to laugh.

"We have some friends to help us out!" James explained.

"Who likes a bit of one direction?" megan yelled, the audience - especially the girls, went crazy.

"Well here's one way or another!" I told them as we stood in our places and the music blared out, Emily played a video of us all on the screens above her and we began.

I began to sing

Then James began to sing

Then Blake began to sing
"I will drive past your house
And if the lights are all down

Megan then yelled
"LET'S GO!" As we danced around the stage


Jamie then carries on

Megan begins her solo

One day, maybe next week

James then sings

We all then scream(One, two, three, four)

We all begin to sing

During the performance we were dancing and jumping around on stage having fun, I loved it and I'm pretty sure the audience were impressed too!

"Thank you! and thanks to Shane, Jenna, Michael, josh, and max!" I yelled and we ran off stage leaving the audience still applauding.

I can't wait if we are in the final. it's gonna be great!
