Flashbacks...

Sam's POV

*flashback*

It was a hot summers day and I was sitting by the lake with my five best friends: Megan, James, Emily, Blake and Jamie. we were all sitting down, I was holding my guitar and we were all having fun messing around with songs, changing the lyrics and having a laugh.

"Hey guys, I know a song we can sing!" I yelled with a grin, causing myself to earn a few curious glances from my friends.

"What song?"

"Do I know it?"

"Sing to me sammy!" that was said by Jamie causing me to giggle.

Once I had composed myself, I began to strum my guitar and megan laughed as she knew what song it was so she began to sing


'Do, do, do, do-do-do,

Do, do, do, do-do-do,

Today, I'm laughing the clouds away,
I hear what the flowers say,

Then James and I sing together:

Then Jamie, Emily and Blake took over:
'Do I turn your grey skies blue?
And make dirty streets look new?

Hmm and the birds sing,

Tweedleedeedeedee,

Now I know exactly what they mean,
Ooh I can't believe that it's so simple,
It feels so natural to me'

Once again James and I sing again, our voices sounding perfect together:

A simple equation,

Then we all sang together in perfect harmony:

Then Megan, Jamie, Emily and Blake took over:


'(What is it you want, Mary?
What do you want?
You want the moon?
Just say the word and I'll
Throw a lasso around it and
Pull it down. Hey. That's a
Pretty good idea. I'll give
You the moon, Mary.)'

We all decided to finish by singing:
'Do, do, do, do-do-do,
Do, do, do, do-do-do,
Do, do, do, do-do-do'


After the song we all laughed with massive grins on our faces, it was a great day!!!


*another flashback in Sam's POV*


It was my fourteenth birthday, I was sitting on the floor of the treehouse in my back yard with my friends when they were giving me my birthday gifts.

"Guys, you seriously didn't have to get me anything!" I groaned, I had been protesting for the past five minutes.

"Oh shush you and open them!" Blake yelled. so I had to obey.

"This one is from me and Em!" Megan squealed before handing me a square package, I grinned and ripped off the wrapping paper, revealing a CD of all of our songs with a cover of us in mid air jumping on a hill with the sunset in the background.

"OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS! ITS PERFECT!" I yelled before pulling the girls into a bone crushing hug.

"Yeah yeah ookay here's my gift!" Jamie told me and passed me a weird shaped package, I cautiously opened it, revealing a red and black SnapBack hat with 'Sammy' on it. I grinned and placed it on my head pulling a duck face causing an eruption of giggles to fill the treehouse. "thank you Jamie I love it!" I cried

Blake's gift was next which was a pack of guitar picks designed by himself, I was extremely impressed!

James far me the last present which was displayed in a small box, it was a charm bracelet with a music charm on it and a charm with the letters'J' and 'S' "oh my gosh, James! it's beautiful!" I cried before hugging him and kissed his cheek.


*present time*

And that's when I realized that I was losing one very close friend to a bitch called Claire...
