Vic's Pov

Things were already growing awkward between me and Kellin again. Things were... tense to say the least.  We were doing our best to keep from arguing, but it was getting hard. It took everything from arguing.  It was like we were falling back into our old habits again. And I hated it, we were trying so hard to not be like that but it was like it was inevitable.

All this arguing was what we were used to since forever.

"Papa," Alan said, walking into the room.

"What's up kiddo?"

"Can you take me to the store? I've gotta get some things."

"What kind of things?"

"Like... teenage things."

"What are teenage things?"

"Can we just go to the store, please?"

"I was reading!" I whined, shutting my book.

"I'll take the bus then.'

"No, your mother would kill me."

"Then take me to the store, please?"

"Alright, let's go."

"Thank you."

I groaned and stood up, my back popping. "I'm getting too old."

"I know.'

"Don't remind me."

"I'm almost eighteen, Papa."

"Don't remind me," I said again.

"A few more months and maybe I'll actually get to graduate."

"You're going to graduate even if it kills me."

"Well maybe."

"You will," I insisted, grabbing my keys.

"I hope so."

I shot him a smile and shouted to Kellin, letting him know where we were going.

"So what do you need?" I asked as we got in the car.

"Teenage stuff."

"What the fuck is teenage stuff?"

"Porn dad."

"Why the fuck do you need porn!?"

"I'm seventeen and I don't have my computer for it, oh right and I can't do anything with my boyfriend either!"

"Well you don't ask your dad to take you to get porn!"

"I said it was teenage stuff, but you wanted details."

"Because I need to know more than just teenage stuff."

"And now you know. It's not like you're gonna pick it out for me."

"You disgust me. You're as bad as your uncle."

"Mike?"

"Yes."

"I need to get off some how."

"Well, I'm trying to talk your mom into ungrounding you."

"How does that help me get off?"

"Because you'll have your computer."

"Well when that happens I won't need this other stuff."

"Can we talk about something else?" I asked, uncomfortable.
