September 14th World hearing Voices Day.

Today is world hearing voices day,

something that some people dismiss,

but it is part of a human experience,

it doesn't mean mental health problems cause this,

so please don't treat with negativity,

show understanding, don't doubt they exist. 

World Hearing Voices Day has been celebrated since 2006, it was created by Louise Pembroke, a voice hearer herself, to try and change the negative attitude to those who hear voices. This day will hopefully challenge people's incorrect assumption that hearing voices is some sort of mental health condition.
