"Do you Katherine Karter Jones take Benjamin Andrew Steele to be your lawfully wedding husband until you both shall live?", The priest asked.

"I do," I said.

"Then by the power invested in me I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride," the priest said.

Ben leaned down and kissed me.

"We're going to be so happy together Katherine," he said, light shining in his eyes. I nodded my head as we walked out of the church.

"Why so gloom, darling? We've wanted this for so long," Ben said.

"Exactly WANTED. That was in the past before all of this shit happened!", I said.

"Don't raise your voice at me. I will not tolerate disrespect," he said, slapping me on the bottom.

"You said you would let Roman go, let him go," I said.

"I will. Guards go fetch the boy!", Benjamin said. I rolled my eyes.

Roman was more of a man than he was and could ever be.

Roman came out, looking at me sadly.

"Katherine, love," he said, looking at me sadly.

"I love you Roman," I said, tears running down my face.

"I love you too, Katherine," he said, sadness in his eyes as the guards carried him away.

"Enough of this! It's time!", Ben yelled.

I felt guards retrain me, gripping tightly onto my arms.

"What are you doing? Let me go!", I yelled.

"Shh darling," Ben said.

"What are you doing? Let him go! Let him go!", I yelled.

I saw the knights tie him up. His arms were tied to a tree, while his legs dangled loosely.

"No! Let him go! Please don't do this! Please! I love him!", I cried, tears falling down my face as I saw the guards lighting torches.

"You'll get over him Katherine. This is a new chapter for us and he can't be involved in it," Ben said as they threw gasoline on him.

"I love you Katherine! Forever and Always!", Roman yelled. I struggled against the guards restraints, finally getting free.

I ran over to Roman, but it was too late. The lit torch touched his foot, spreading fire through his whole body.

"Noo!", I yelled trying to get him free, fire scorching my hands. The guards pulled me back, lifting my head up and making me watch the scene.

I listened to Roman's screams, crying miserably as I tried to look away.

"Look Katherine! This is your old life, burning away. It will just be us now," Ben said, turning my head towards Roman's burning body.

"I hate you, you sick fuck!", I sobbed. Roman's screams came to a halt, letting me know he passed.

I felt a part of me die.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter! I know it was lit 😝 haha little bit of comic relief right there.

Probably like one more chapter or an epilogue. Maybe both.

Anyways just wanted to let you guys know that most of the books I have written I will be revising and changing a little. I'm not going to take down these books, I'm doing it on another page @Bookie-The-Rookie. You can follow that page if you want.

Honestly I want to redo a whole book before I release it so a book probably won't be out til 2017, but if you want to stay updated follow that page. If you're wondering I'm planning on rewriting the Belle and Marciello series, Loki and Gwen, and probably this book. Not so sure yet. Anyways comment if you read this whole author's note.
