Chapter 2

It was morning time and I had to go to the dreadful place called school. I literally hated it there, the only bright side was my friends. And of course Katherine, but she rarely spoke to me outside of the castle.

I didn't try to force her. I knew it must be weird and uncomfortable being surrounded by a ton of werewolves.

I looked over at my appearance one more time before I left out the castle. I saw Katherine walking.

"Kat!", I yelled. She turned around and walked over to me.

"Hey Ben," she said as she looked at me mischievously. I couldn't tell if she was in either her playful or horny mood.

"Hey Kat," I replied as I looked down at her attire. She was wearing black high waisted pants, a white crop top, and some black converse.

She leaned up and kissed me hard. I responded back eagerly, receiving pda from Katherine was rare and I was definitely going to take advantage of this opportunity.

She grabbed my hands and lowered them down to her ass, while kissing me harder. I squeezed her ass in my hands and kissed her back with the same raw passion. Her legs wrapped around my waist and next thing I know we are practically dry humping.

She pulled away and looked in another direction. I saw this red head looking at us, Katherine smirked at her and did a little wave, making the red head fume and stomp away.

"What was that about?", I asked.

"I heard her talking with her friends about you. She was saying how much she liked you," Katherine said.

"So you got jealous?", I asked.

"No. I just had to show her who you belonged to," Katherine smirked as she walked away. I hated to see her go, but I loved to watch her leave.

Shaking my head, I got in my car and drove to school. I couldn't help, but think about how life would be with Katherine. I knew it would never be dull, Katherine was like an onion she had many layers and I couldn't wait to explore all of them.

She was so unpredictable at times. Some days she literally shocked me with her actions, like today. Other days she stayed quiet and shy. And some days she was just angry and cursed everyone out. But my favorite are when she laughs, smiles, and jokes a lot. I love seeing her happy.

I arrived at school and my eyes immediately sought after Katherine. I frowned slightly as I saw her talking to this human boy. When did he get here?

"Seems like Katherine found a new boy toy," Troy said as he came up to me.

"No, she's with me," I replied.

"And yet she's over there talking to that guy," Troy said, smirking. I scowled.

"She's pretty hot, you know," Troy said, trying to make me mad.

"She's my mate! Stop talking about her like that!", I yelled.

"Holy shit! So the rumours are true?" Troy asked.

"Yes, you dipshit," I replied angrily. He was irritating the hell out of me.

"Wow. Mated with a human. I wonder how that's going to look to the court," Troy said.

"I don't give a fuck about the court. She's mine and I'm never letting her go," I replied.

"That's good man. Fight for your woman," Troy said. I looked back over at Katherine and saw a group of girls taunting her. I was about to walk over there and stop it, but Troy stopped me.

"Let her handle it. She's going to be Queen someday," Troy said. I nodded.

I saw anger in Katherine's eyes and the human boy tried to tell the girls to leave her alone. I recognized one of the girls as the red head from earlier.

"I'm going to warn you one more time. I'm not someone you want to mess with. Now I have spared your little life too many times. I suggest you leave me alone," Katherine said.

"What are you going to do? Your a weak little human," the red head spat.

"Am I really?," Katherine asked lowly while raising one of her eyebrows. I was so confused what did she mean.

Katherine pulled the red head closer to her and whispered something in her ear, making the red head's eyes widen and gloss over.

"Leave now and never speak of or to me again," Katherine told the red head. She nodded her head her eyes still glossed over. The red head went into the school building and her followers followed her.

"Did you just see that?", Troy asked.

"Yeah," I replied still shocked.

I was starting to doubt if Katherine was even human.

If she wasn't human than what was she?
