Just when I thought this cruddy day couldn't get worse it did. Will the universe ever cease to amaze me.
When I got home all I could do was think about how embarrassing it was for me during biology. Everyone was staring at me like I was a freak. I went to my room and started reading a book when my father swung the door open.
"Dad please knock next time" I said while keeping my eyes on my book. "I have great news. Guess whose moving into our neighborhood?" "Is it Santa Clause?" I asked sarcastically while still looking at my book. "No it's Dave Reyes." Dad said excited. "WHAT?!" I said in shock "I said it's Dave Reyes." "I heard you I was just in shock." "Ok honey. Oh and your mother said something about 7 and dinner. I can't remember tho. But I'm sure you know." Dad left the room.
I can't believe Dave Reyes is moving into our neighborhood. He is the father of Angelo. The boy who bullies me. CRUD! CRUD!! CRUD!!! I guess now I can't even be happy in my own home. I stayed upstairs trying to figure out a way to convince mom that we had to move.
Mom came to my room at 6:59. "Sea shell don't you want some dinner." "Dad said dinner was at 7:00" "Yes and it is 6:59 now" Mom must've noticed I looked upset. Because she asked "What's wrong Shelly?" "Mom can we move?" "Why do you want to move?" "Well....... me and Angelo are not on the best terms" "WHAT? Wait is he bulling you? Because if he is--" "He's not mom. It's just a minor problem that will blow over" I know what you are thinking why didn't I just come clean and tell her the truth. If you have this question in your head then I have a question for you....... WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!!!! Obviously my mom getting involved would just make everything worse! "Ok hon. In that case then there is no reason to move. You'll have to face him eventually weather you like it or not."
The worst thing about that sentence was that it was true:(!! Well that is the part about facing him I'm not so sure about the moving thing. I think mom thinks that I might have a crush on him because when she was going downstairs I heard her say.... "Teens and their hormones."
When I finally went downstairs I nearly threw up from the sight of seeing my brother eat. That boy eats like a pig! "You better start eating before I eat your food." He said with a mouth full of mashed potato.
