seolyeon let out a sigh as she slumped down on the chair. she checked the clock that was hanging on the wall.

11:47AM. she almost rolled her eyes. the girl had barely three minutes before her break ends.

she was supposed to be resting seventeen minutes ago, but there were too many costumers to lose a worker.

but then a buzz on her phone snapped her out of her thoughts.

"seolyeon! we need you here, come on!" the assistant manager yelled from outside the staff room.

"but i still haveㅡ" she stopped herself and took a deep breath, "okay! i'll just changed to a cleaner apron!"

"don't take too long!" he shouted back, not too nicely. seolyeon almost shot an answer, but kept it to herself.

"yes, sir!"

the next break that the girl got was two hours later, at one in the afternoon.

fishing out her phone from the pocket was the first thing that the girl did, and there were already unseen messages from the man.
