seolyeon almost rolled her eyes at the last message that came from the tall idol, but the smile on her lips never faded.
"seolyeon!" she looked up and saw the cafe's manager, "i'll be going now. are you sure you're okay?"
the said girl nodded, "yeah. go enjoy your date!" she laughed a little. "and besides, if i do this, then it means i get more money."
"don't haunt me when something happens to you, okay?" the older woman smiled, "and not a lot of costumers will be here, so you'll be fine. and there's a lot of knives in the kitchen too."
"okay, i get it!" seolyeon put her phone back in her pocket and stood up, "now let me do the honors of escorting your ass out of here."
"shut up. if it weren't for me, you would be still looking for jobs right now."
"sure." she trailed off, dragging the second to the last vowel. "i'm so thankful i have an amazing cousin like you."
"whatever."
the both of them laughed and exchanged last not so kind goodbyes before the older one left, which means that seolyeon was all alone in the cafe.
this was the only job that was available for her since her identification card was with the tree-like dream visual of seventeen.
she went back to her chair behind the counter and fished out her phone before taking a picture of the empty place and sending it to the said boy.

minute after minute, seolyeon would send something to the idol who wasn't replying. she glared at her phone and clicked send as the message the she typed being relayed to the idol.

after that, she exited the application and put her phone inside her pocket before opening her laptop.
actually, workers weren't supposed to use any gadgets during work hours, but nobody would really care since she was alone so seolyeon took the opportunity.
she plugged her earphones in and looked for some videos to watch. these were one of those time where she really felt like a fangirl.
she was one, but she had to do something to make her life easier, so she had no time to keep up with the updates.
it wasn't when after almost half and hour of watching different kinds of videos that included korean men doing different kinds of things; may it be embarrassing or amusing, the chimes of the cafe was heard.
she pulled out her earphones and quickly stood up before doing a small bow, "hello! welcome toㅡ" the sentence was stopped immediately when she saw who the new costumer was.
"hi," he smiled with his teeth showing as he gave her a small wave, "table for one handsome man, please."
