August & I were talking about nothing in particular..

I was low-key freaking out about asking Jaila on this date with me..

Only because August told me that she was very stubborn and hard to get.

"Babyeh!!!!"August yelled calling Amari..

"What?!"Amari yelled coming downstairs with Jaila right behind her..

They began to talk to each other.. Before quietly leaving the room..

Jaila sat on the couch across from me.

"Hi Jaila.."I spoke ending the awkwardness in the room.

"Hi.."Jaila spoke softly playing with her hands.

"Soooo.... Um.."I coughed a little to loud..

Why was I so nervous?

"Umm.. Are you okay?  Do you need some water?"her face scrunched up..

"No. I'm fine... Um... So how have you been?"I asked her..

😑 Really nigga?

"Good.. I guess.. Why are you acting so weird?"Jaila asked looking at me weirdly..

"No reason.. So I wanted to ask you a question.."

Awe shit.. Im nervous as hell.. Okay. Imma just come out and ask her.

"Yes?"

"Do you wanna go out on a date with me?"I asked her.

She began laughing. Like I was joking.

Once she noticed that I was serious she stopped laughing..

"Oh.. You were serious?"

"Yes."

"Oh.. Why would you wanna go on a date with me? I'm broken as hell.. And no one can fix that.. So why?"

"Just let me take you out.. I feel like I can get your mind off of what you're thinking about.. I like you already.. I swear your the only girl that's ever got me nervous like this."I rambled on and on..

"If I say yes will you stop talking?"Jaila giggled a little..

I nodded my head fast.

"Okay then yes I'll go with you.. How should I dress?"She stood up..

"Casual.. Be ready by 7:00.."I told her.

"Okay.. Bye"She smiled..

I pulled her into a hug by her waist.. She hugged me back..

"See you later."I mumbled kissing her cheek..

When I got outside I swear i did about two back flips.. I was happy as hell..

"Now.. Time to go set this date up"I mumbled getting in my car and pulling off..

Jaila..

"Biiiitttttttcccccchhhhh!!!!"Amari yelled coming around the corner.

"What?"I knew her nosey ass heard everything.

"Your going on a date!!!!"Amari yelled in my ear.

"Umm.. Your in my ear!"I yelled back..

"Oh sorry.. Now did he tell you where you guys were going?"Amari followed me into my room..

"No, he just said to dress casual"I mumbled looking through my closet..
