She tapped the screen pause as she momentarily checked the clock. Heejung was taking her sweet time watching the new teaser EXO released. And if she keeps on indulging herself, she won't be able to get out of the addiction that was the boys and be late for school.

Being a fangirl is not as easy and shallow as other people percept it to be. The artists fans adore are like small time-outs from the harsh reality they are faced every day. And they don't know the agony. Especially when you're not given the chance to see them in actual.

They literally are so hard to reach.

Choosing to put them aside, she went on her way to the kitchen downstairs to eat breakfast before she heads to the university, not bothering to call her family to eat with her.

She was about to take her fourth bite when she heard some thuds from the stairs, ending with her hanging her hand in the air as she trails her eyes on her parents coming down.

Her father struggled to put on his Americana coat when her mother spotted her, hurriedly wearing her newly bought dangling earrings.

"Good morning, my little bunny!"

"Morning," the 1996-liner dryly replied, cringing at her mother's unchanging endearment.

"Heejung-a," her father's baritone voice called whilst she focused more on her food. "Be back before 2pm."

"Why?"

"We have some visitors coming over."

Without any more interrogation, she nodded. The couple sat down and dug in after their daughter finished her turn, prompting to leave.

"I'll go ahead," she uttered, planting a small peck on her mom's cheeks, her mother holding her as she leans.

When she went back to her room, she took the remaining 30 minutes before it ticks 7:50 in preparing herself for school. Took a shower, wore her picked clothes, slipped into her Converse and head on her way.

The gates still had the 'back to school' banner. The trees were still about the same size. Practically, nothing changed. Students were scattered everywhere, as they always were, and their same old demeanor towards the elite girl didn't alter as well.

"Good morning, Heejung."

She threw a cold shoulder, not sparing a glance at the guy who greeted her as she walked towards the bench she and her best friend always hang out at.

"Maybe you should take part in Frozen 3."

A familiar soprano voice caused her to turn her head and meet the playful narrowing eyes of Yoo Myunghui, her 5-year-long friend, approaching her as she clutched the peach strap of her Guess backpack that didn't really hold so much stuff inside.
