5. Self Conscious

I HATE THE SELF CONSCIOUS BLACK CHARACTERS. It's annoying. I know it's the reality of many people but I hate that some of them don't pick themselves up there's always a man involve who is picking them up and whisking them away in happiness and it's sad that we believe as woman that we need a man or vice versa aka someone to help us get better instead of us getting better.

When someone is depressed there must be a knight to save us from ourselves and make it known that we are depressed and suddenly we wake up and we realise that we are important.

To my fabulous fat/chubby black men and women, please create books that make you happy, we need more books that have your characters who aren't sassy, who are shy, who are confident, who are just like the reflection of ourselves. I realised that I need to create books where the character is chubby because that's who I am.

And I want to create books that look like me, that look like others and give us hope if we are feeling down that we are perfect, beautiful and godly.

Also to my little dark black boys and girls don't think that because you are dark that you're not worth it, self worth is more important than people's opinions. A lot of people wish to be like you, have your features so they share you because they can't have it.

Don't bleach your skin because a couple of ignorant kids told you too, be greater than that. Just because your boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on you with a women of a lighter shade doesn't mean that you are valued less. It's his or her's fault

I want girls that look normal meaning not super skinny or super fat just girls who love themselves and nothing less. I'm a fat black woman but I don't hate myself, I really, really love myself no matter what shape or state I'm in. And I think that's what we need to remember.
