when we arrived kian helped us take down the bags of stuff we got. i fixed the candy in a couple of glass bowls and set them down on a table with other stuff other people had bought. there was already about 20 people there and ricky said he invited atleast 50.
atleast jc wasnt there yet because it would have been the defenition of awkward. we put the sodas we got in the ice chests outside on the balcony. hopefully the apartment would fit all 50 people invited but 20-25 fit outside on the balcony, and whoever wanted to be inside could because it was kind of a big apartment. i didnt know how much they payed for rent but i imagine it pretty expensive.
as we finished putting the bowls. ricky, jc, and sam walked in.
"heey guys" ricky greeted us after he put his stuff down
"i saw you guys at walmart" he added
"oh yeah we bought a couple of stuff" i said and pointed over to the tables with candy and chips
"well so did we but we'll keep them as extras id we finish the stuff we have"
"alright and theres some more sodas out on the balcony" i said
i gave sam a hug and jc walked into the bathroom and i laughed because well i wasnt here to see him
the countdown started at about 9 on T.V so we turned it on and waited around.
"hey babe" cody said while i was putting the control down
"whats up?" i asked
"would you mind joining me to go outside and drink something?"
"hmm let me think about it" i said looking around and teasing him
"c'moooooon" he said
i laughed "alright buttface"
he held my hand and we got to the furthest corner in the balcony where you could almost see the skyline. i said hello to as many people as i knew until cody started kissing my neck.
"cody stop that tickles" i said giggling and pushing him away
""i know its your only weak spot" he said holding my hands
"youre a poop" i said to him and looked far out the balcony
"i cant wait to give you a kiss at midnight tonight" he said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing the top of my head
"me either" i replied and leaned in inches away from his face but pulled away to tease him

ricky pluged in his music at about 11 and everyone danced until about 11:45. i headed inside with cody to see the countdown on tv. since not alot of people fit inside, some were celebrating outside on the balcony.
when the clock struck midnight i looked at cody in the eyes and said "happy new year babe" and he gave me back the kiss he had been holding in for what seemed ever.
i heard someone slam a door shut really hard and looked around to see that it might have been jc. i didnt worry because the party wasnt over yet. ricky turned up the radio station on the tv and we started talking around about our plans for the new year.
"so many youtubers i wantto work with!" ricky said with a big smile
"O2L is doing really good too, im proud of you guys!"
"cheers to our second life" kian said raising his cup of soda up
"cheers!" we all yelled and drank what was in our cups
it was around 1:30am when we drove back home, we were going to spend the night but we werent that long away from our apartment anyways,
i got out of my dress, put my pj's on and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take my makeup off. i layed on the bed and cody joined me 5 minutes later.
"go turn off the light please" i said
he got up and turned it up
"thanks, i love you"
"i love you too" he said kissing my cheek
