I went out of the attic and went downstairs to the kitchen, as i got there i saw Kade drinking his medicine and water.
"Kade."
"Bree." He said. "I don't know what happened i'm sorr-"
I cut him off, "it's fine,kade. I told you what's done is done. What happened to you?"
"I'm slowly dying." He said.
"What?!"
"Apparently this is what happens when you're going to get appointed as Alpha and you don't have a luna because you rejected your mate and she accepted the rejection." He said.
"You're really dying?" I had to ask.
"I think so, i feel like i'm getting weaker as the days go by. I can't be alpha anymore, an alpha should have waited for their mate and didn't reject them." He said. He sighed, " it's funny how one mistake can ruin my entire existence. My life is crumpling before my eyes and i can't do anything about it."
"I'm sorry." I said.
"Bree you don't have anything to be sorry about! I should be the one saying that! Stop it, you have no fault in this." He said.
I felt so down mostly because he deserves to live and be happy. He deserves a second chance to right his wrong doings.
