23: Its My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To

Today it was Rydels birthday and there was a special concert for it. We (R5, Ryland, Me, Courtney, Savannah H, Natalie and lots of other friends and relatives). We all went to the venue and hung out before the concert started. We had to do all this sound check and vocal and wardrobe and blah blah blah. It's long to list. I had my earphones in and was listening to loads of songs and was humming the tune to them.
"Lena!" I quickly handed Ryland his head phones and ran over to Riker & his Dad. "You guys okay?" I ask.
"We need some help" Riker says.
"Sure what can I do?" I smile.
"Could you get all the merch and set it up?" Mark asks. I nod. "Sure" I say.
"Thanks Lena!" Riker pulled me into a tight hug. I struggled to get free and Mark chuckled. "I will break your pretty face if you don't let go" I say.
"Okay okay!" He laughs. I quickly kissed his cheek and waved as I ran to the right room.. Lush Life By Zara Larsson came on and I sang along as I put the boxes of merch on the trolley. I thought no one was watching. Till after I finished I heard some talking.
"Does riker know Lena can sing?"
"If he dosent then he stupid!"
"Lenas amazing at singing guys!"
I open the door and saw Courtney, Natalie & Savannah all talking.
"Awww!" I say. we all laugh and then it's time for the concert. We all stood on the side and watched. They played Rydels songs and her favourite ones from the albums. Us girls sang along to all the songs. After the girls went to talk to Mark and Ryland. I let them and watched Riker. He looks so happy on stage. Which I love. After they ran back excited. The concert ended and then Mark whispered something in Rikers ear making him grin. He told the whole band and they agreed. What's happening? Riker speaks:
"Everyone please welcome to the stage my amazing girlfriend, Lena!"
I shyly walk to the stage and the crowd goes wild. I love R5 family: their so cute and sweet. "Lenas gonna sing"
"WHAT!?" I was happy but surprised and confused. It was the girls.
"SING SING SING!" Everyone chanted.
I gave in and chose a song.

"Your all cute" I say into the mic making everyone laugh. Everyone was yelling something but I didn't get it. I went off stage... to be in a crowd! All my friends were hugging me and sadly I'm the shortest so I could not see a thing. I kept saying get off please but my voice was muffled. So I kicked my leg and Riker fell pulling Rocky back pulling Nat back, pulling Ross back, pulling Sav back and so on.
"What's new?" I ask sitting down.
"You just sang Pity Party in front of thousands of people and your saying what's new!?" Rydel exclaimed.
"Wait a sec!" I went to my bag and got out the present. I gave it to her.
"Happy Birthday!" I say hugging her.
She opened it and held up a pink striped top and a pink spotty top.
"I didn't know which to buy so I got both" I say. She giggled and pulled out a Starbucks & Nasty Gal gift card which had $50. "Aw thanks!" She hugs me and the boys Aww like idiots.
"Shut up losers" we say pulling apart.
I sat down next to Riker.
"Did you know Lena sang?" Ry asks.
"No but one time she sang in the mini studio" he says pulling my head onto his lap and played with my wavy hair:
"You should start a music career" Ross says feeding Courtney a cookie. AWW!
"You guys are cute" I say.
"No seriously you should!" She says.
"Maybe..." I say playing with my purple nails. I wasn't sure about singing but I loved to dance but I wasn't sure about that either. I don't really know what I wanna be. I don't wanna be famous.
I just wanna have an ordinary life.
Marry someone, have kids. Normal to be honest and just have a normal job to. I really wanna work in Bath & Body Works or Starbucks or Forever 21.
"Earth to Lena?" I look away from my nail and everyone was looking.
"Oh sorry what?" I ask.
"We were talking about our futures"
"Oh cool. Whatcha y'all gonna do?"
"R5 forever until a certain time then we'll think about it then" Riker says.
"I'm gonna model" Courtney says.
"I'll continue with The Heirs!" Sav says
"Imma do a bit of singing" Ry says.
"And I'm gonna be a fashion designer or work at Nordstorm" Nat says.
"Im gonna... be a Mom" I say. Everyone laughs. "What job?" Rocky asks me.
"Either Starbucks, Forever 21 or Bath And Body Works" I say.
"No singing!?" Riker exclaims. I nod.
"I don't wanna be famous" I say. Everyone was shocked. Well that's just me.
