I see birds in the leaves
I hear tales of murder through the breeze
And I notice love in the dying of eve
Yet I stay quiet
I close my eyes and allow my thoughts to enter a chamber in my mind
Never to be opened
Never to be released
Not to be shared
My sacred thoughts, caressed by the whispers of the wind
My divine memories, locked away with captured secrets that used to wander
Secrets made to wander and thoughts meant to be shared
Caught in an everlasting orbit
Caught in an immortal halo around the outskirts of their chamber
Wishing to be free
Demanding to be left inside
Wish
Demand
Desire.
