The alarm clock rings and her eyes open. The piercing sound of the alarm immediately evokes a sense of dread as she sits up in bed. A discontented frown is already plastered on her lips. Reluctantly she shuffles about as she goes through the same dull morning routine she has felt stuck in for some time now. With each passing moment her frown deepens. The damp air seemed to match her mood.

As she pulls her toast out of the toaster the phone on the counter lights up and the common greeting phrase, "Good Morning." Is written on the screen. She puts down her burnt toast to pick up the phone. Her tired eyes jump to the name at the top of the screen.  At the sight of his name she unknowingly began to smile. Those simple words for him made her frown melt away in an instant.

Then as she continued through her day she could not conceal the gleeful smile expression that was plastered on her face. She unconsciously smiled at everyone she passed, and in turn they too smiled back just as happily. The cheer spread wildly throughout the building. By the end of the day the sun had emerged and she made her way home.  She felt completely enchanted. When her phone lit up again and he asked her, "How is your day going?" She had no choice but to reply with the word Wonderful. The smile on her face only grew. The smile which he had put there. The contagious happiness that he infected her with causing everyone who crossed her path to be come infected as well. It was a chain that reaction that he unknowingly began.
