Chapter 2- Dance With Me

Ben's POV
After we walked into the party everyone stopped what they were doing and bowed, for me of course, but Mal looked embarrassed anyway. I laugh nervously
"Umm.. Okay everyone please resume your activites." I said loudly and then the music started again. I looked over at Mal who looked like she couldn't breathe, her face was bright red.
"Mal! Are you okay?!" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine" she said her face seeming to go back to normal.
"Okay, dont scare me like that." I said pulling her into a hug.
"Now lets go enjoy ourselves." Mal said pulling out of the hug. I looked over into her eyes and saw them looking over to the food table.
"Yes, Mal, there are strawberries." I said rolling my eyes and I led her to the food table.

Mal's POV
One of the many reasons I love Ben: he knows how to comfort me at a huge party. I pop another strawberry into my mouth then look over and see Ben has went to talk to some of his friends. I turn back to the table but just then a slow song comes on and I see Ben's eyes light up. He runs over to me and tries to drag me out onto the dance floor but I pull back and say
"Ben please... I-..." I then sigh and say "I cant dance." I then amlost cry. Ben looks at me and says
"Then let me teach you." He grabs my hands and pulls me out onto the dance floor. I then realize how easy this is, especially since Ben is leading. When the song ends I look deep into Ben's eyes and know he is truely happy.
"I love you, Mal" he says to me as he pulls me closer.
"I love you too, Ben" I say and kiss him on the cheek. Ben then lets me go back to the food table and I decide to take the whole bowl of strawberries.. Who's gonna stop me, I am dating the king. *Mal smiles to herself*
