Chapter 19: Death and Cleaning Supplies

~ Mercy POV~

I was working on some paper works and some reports on some resent cases when Garcia came out of her layer

"My lovelies we have a new case." She announced, we made our way to the conference room.

"Ok my lovely crime fighters we are heading to Atlanta Georgia. Vanessa Holden age 25, went clubbing with her sister Ashley only to be found brutally murdered. He umm... cut her open and then after 4 hours he umm slit her throat open." Garcia explained as a few pictures of Vanessa and her murder popped up on the screen.

"So he disemboweled her and didn't kill her for four hours" Rossi commented "We could be looking at a sexual sadist." I suggested

"Well I found some other cases involving prostitutes which a strangely similar!" Garcia continues explaining, she handed us each a copy of the case files

"So baby girl why do you think we have the same unsub?" Morgan asked "Well my hot chocolate in both the motels and Vanessa's apartment the CSI found bleach, ammonia and trash bags all in a triangular pattern. They also found ammonia under their fingernails." Garcia explained. "He's making them clean up their own murder" Morgan concluded "Sick bastard." I mumble "Wheels up in 30." Hotch ordered.

I sat down next to Spencer

"Hey!" he said, I smiled and intertwined my hands with his

"hey!" I looked at Morgan he was smirking and making kissy faces at us. I couldn't help but laugh Oh Morgan why do you have to be so... Morgan I thought. I continued examining the case files

"So if the unsub changed victimology does that make him organized or disorganized?" Emily asked

"Well prostitutes point one way club goes another." Morgan replied

"The triangular arrangement of the cleaning supplies is interesting." I say

"Obsessive compulsive!" Hotch guessed

"Or he might have been institutionalized!" I say

"Were missing something here I mean this guy started with prostitutes a high risk victimology, he took a year off came back and killed a social light." Rossi suggests

"No forced no commotion of any kind." Morgan continues

"Exactly so how does this guy go from loser of the year to Don Hawn (sorry if I got the name wrong if there are any fans of his here)?" Rossi asks

"Actually Don Hawn was an iconic reversal of sex roles and when-"he abruptly stopped when he noticed everyone on the team especially Hotch giving him a disturbed look.

"That-a about it." He said awkwardly and he continued scanning the crime scene photos

"Something must have happened between the last prostitute and Vanessa Holden to make him change his victimology

" Could our unsub have known Vanessa?" JJ asked

"I don't think so it's not in the profile of a sexual sadist." Morgan says

"Then um like to sever a connection and see their victims as objects rather than people in order to perpetrate this level of torture." I say

"We have to build 2 profiles than one for the unsub who killed prostitutes and one for the unsub hits the club."

Emily concluded

"We've never done that before" Rossi says.

"As soon as we land I want Reid to work on the geographical profile, Prentiss, Rossi and JJ concentrate on the prostitutes. Mercy, Morgan and I will deal with Vanessa Holden." Hotch ordered. In a few hours we arrived in Atlanta and we quickly made our way to the station.
