Chapter 10: Hair Cuts & Boy Bands

~Mercy POV~

I woke up, took a quick shower and changed into a black blazer, a denim shirt, black skinny jeans and a pair of high heeled army boots. I hopped into my car and drove to the FBI headquarters. I enter the office and I was immediately greeted by Garcia

"Hey Mercy you look amazing!" she complimented me

"Thanks Garcia you look great too." I said

"Thanks. The team is in the conference room." I made my way to the conference room and I sat down next to JJ

"Hey guys have you seen Reid?" Morgan asked

"It isn't normal for Reid to be this late." Hotch noticed just then Spencer came rushing in...he had a new a haircut He look really good I thought. He sat down and arranged his tie

"Reid since when did you join a boy band?" Rossi joked, the entire team burst out laughing

"I think Reid looks pretty hot." I blurt out the entire team looked at me I quickly turned red and so was Reid Oh my god why did I open my stupid mouth? I thought.

"Ooh look at you pretty boy getten all the pretty ladies." Morgan teased, Reid nervously rubbed the back of his neck

"I can't believe I'm saying this but can we stop focusing on junior G man and focus on the case!" Garcia said angrily. Everyone stopped laughing, I mumbled her a thank you

"Ok let's get started 3 couples by the name of Isabella Anderson and Cole Fernández , Lilly Wilson and Blake Martin and Aria Li and Hunter Sánchez were found murdered in L.A they were found in varies alleys. The girls were raped and beaten to death while the male's where shot the death." Garcia explained. A couple of pictures popped up on the screen, I noticed all the girls looked the same Black hair and blue eyes ... they look like me I thought. "

The girls all look the same the unsub clearly has a type." I noted

"Also there is clear sings of over- kill on all the females. While the man were killed by a gunshot I think the killer is identifying with the man." Reid explained

"Whatever the reason we have a psycho on the loose who killing couples and by the looks of it he's not slowing down. Wheels up in 30!" Hotch said

I was walking down a dark alley It's so cold I thought

"Hey there beautiful!" someone shouted I turned around and saw a man I couldn't make out his face.

"Come here!" He said I stared running but I wasn't fast enough he pinned me to the wall

"Aw baby don't run away." He said as he kissed me. I tried to pull away but I couldn't, I could feel his hands trailing down my blouse. He undid the buttons of my blouse exposing my bra

"NOO!" I shouted

I woke up finding myself on the plane I quickly stood up and ran towards the bathroom. I splashed some water on my face Mercy it wasn't real I thought. But it was no use the tears were already streaming down my face

"Mercy Its Spencer are you ok?" Spencer asked, I took a deep breath

"I'm fine Spencer I'm just a little sick that's all." I lied, "Are you sure you don't need anything?" Spencer asked. I let out a sigh Just put on a brave face Mercy I thought and I got out of the bathroom

"See Reidsters I'm fine." I said, Reid looked at me and gave me a concerned look.

I looked away and sat down

"Ok guys when we land I want Reid and Mercy to go the morgue, JJ and Morgan I want you to go check the crime scenes , Rossi and Emily I want you to talk with families and I will be working on victimology ." Hotch ordered

When we arrived at the airport Reid and I quickly hopped into a car and drove to the morgue. When we were at a noticeable distance from the team Reid stopped the car

"What the hell Reid??" I say in astonishment

~Reid POV~

I quickly stopped the car

"What the hell Reid?" Mercy shouted

"Mercy I saw you on the plane something happened to you, your demeanor totally changed and your eyes were red?!?" I asked, Mercy let out a sigh

"During the plane ride I had nightmare about our unsub ... he was raping me. Reid I keep having these nightmares and I think I'm going crazy!" She said angrily , I let out a sigh

"Tobias Hankel." I whisper

"What?" she asked

"Tobias Hankel. He was a serial killer with a spilt personality disorder he kidnapped me and tortured me. He also injected me with a drug which I later became addicted to. You see Mercy everyone has their demons, you may think you are alone but you aren't." I explained "I'm so sorry Spencer I had no idea I'm so sorry for being so selfish." She said "Mercy you weren't selfish you're just going through a really tough time." I say, she gave me a smile and entwined her hands in mine. I could feel my cheeks burning "Thank you so much that Reidsters I don't know what do without you!" I gave her an awkward smile and continued driving to the morgue.
