Chapter 16: The Fight Ring Pt4 Safe and Sound

~Reid POV~

My light nap was quickly interrupted by the sound of the door opening, I looked at the time Great I wasted half an hour on finding Mercy I thought, I got up and started making my way to the conference room

"Spencer!" a soft voice called out, I turned around and I stood in awe

"Gid- Gid-eon." The words could barely come out of my throat, I couldn't believe that Gideon was here.

"Hey Spencer it's been a long time." He says as he gave me a hug, I smile and hug him back. I pull back

"Gideon?" I here Morgan say

"Omg Gidoen!!" Garcia shouted, as the entire team came and welcomed Gideon.

"I can't believe it's actually you what brought you here?" Emily asked "Well Hotch informed me about the case and when I heard about the... hmm severity of the case I decided to stop by and help. Besides I was close to town anyway." He explained.

"Jason. Jason my my I haven't seen you in a long time amico." I here Rossi say, Gideon laughed and gave him a hug.

"Alright everyone let's get started on the profile." Hotch ordered.

~Gideon POV~

I watched as Spencer, pinned the pictures of the victims on the board but he abruptly stops. I looked at the picture and I saw ...him and next to him was a beautiful girl she was all smiles. Her bright blue eyes were beaming with happiness, she was wearing a blush pink blouse, a dark blue blazer, dark blue jeans and a pair of high heeled boots which were too high for me to imagine someone walking in them. She had one of her hands wrapped around Spencer waist while the other hand was holding a cup of coffee.

"Is that Mercy? " I asked curiously

"Yea, that's Mercy how did you umm how did, you know who she is?" he asked

"Hotch told me about her." Reid nodded and handed me the picture, I slipped on my glasses. I smiled

"She is a very beautiful girl. You know Hotch also told me you have feelings for her." I stated, Spencer smiled and he started to blush

"Spencer everyone will eventually fall into the hands of love even you , so there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Tell me about her." I say in a calm voice. He smiled

"She's umm different, very different. There was just something about her I don't know. That something, kept pulling me closer to her from the moment I saw her. She leaves me speechless every times she talks. She is the first person to truly understands me." Reid says, I couldn't help but smile. Morgan was right he is a love struck idiot I thought.

~Mercy POV~

I looked out from the small window that Maria and I had in our cell, and I noticed the sun was setting. By now I knew what that meant, when the sun set the fight ring is open for business. I looked at Maria , she sat in the corner , she was shivering I couldn't help but noticed she looked paler than usual.

"Maria are you ok?" I asked worryingly, she looked at me

"I'm-I'm fine!" she says , I knew she was lying. Just then one of the guards came and grabbed Maria and started pushing Maria out of the cell.

"Come you little bitch move!!" He shouts , she looked at me her face was full of fear. I knew she was too weak to fight and I couldn't let her get killed.
