Chapter 8: 333

~Mercy's POV~

Emily and I entered the station we were greeted by Hotch

"Did you find anything at the crime scene?" He asked curiously

"No nothing new." Emily says, Hotch gave a disappointed look. We enter a small room, Garcia was on the screen

"Ok so we've got 4 victims Garcia I want you to tell everything you know about each victim." I ordered

"Of course my sexy genius, Well Leah Clark age 26 was just signed to a law firm and just got married to her faience Mark Clark. Elijah Scott age 31 is the manager of a 4 star hotel and the proud father of two kids and has been happily married for 6 years. And Jordan Phillips age 22, he is a history major and recently got engaged to his boyfriend Mason Green." Garcia explained

"There is nothing that connects the victims together all of this point to a random attack." Rossi argued

"But the bullet to the heart and the note says that it's not!" Spencer argued

"Could we be looking at two unsubs?" Emily asked

"I don't think so there is nothing in the evidence or in the nature of the crime that shows there are two unsubs. "I explained. Hotch let out a sigh

"It's not use arguing about the case at this time we should probably check in the hotel and get our rooms sorted out." Hotch ordered

The entire team entered the hotel, Hotch made his way to the receptionist. I joined the girls who were talking, I stole a couple of glances at Reid who was reading a book. I smiled

"So Mercy anyone particular in your life?" Emily asked me

"No not really I've been so busy with my studies and after the death of my sister I never really thought about being in a relationship." I confessed

"A beautiful girl like you wouldn't have trouble finding a guy. Just don't beat the living shit of them." Morgan joked I laughed

"Ok it looks like we are going to share our rooms , so JJ and Emily in one room, Morgan and Rossi in another and Reid and Mercy in another. I'll be in a single room." I swallowed hard, Hotch handed us our keys

"Go get'em tiger!" I hear Morgan tease Reid.

Reid and I enter our room, it was actually a really cute room . It had two beds, a mini fridge, a small desk, a large bathroom and complete with a small balcony. I placed my duffel bag on the floor and started unpacking

"Mercy I'm going to take a shower." Reid said as he grabbed his things and made his way to the bathroom. I took out my headphones and my copy of Macbeth. I was halfway through Banquo's murder scene when Reid came out he was wearing a pair of sweat pants and he was shirtless. I blushed he was actually pretty well built considered how skinny he looked.

"I-I forgot my shirt." He said awkwardly as he put on his shirt.

"Your reading Macbeth?" he asked

"Yea I am , I was thinking of rereading The Phantom of The Opera but after my first case I was like... nah better not." Reid laughed

"Trust me I did that for every case I would end up not reading at all." He joked, I laughed. He ran his fingers through his long hair, since our last case it had gotten pretty long.
