*Chris
"Are you serious?!" I yelled
London slammed the door leaving me in there.
Tae rushed in after London left.
"Babe are you okay?" She asked handing me my crutches.
"Yeah I'm fine." I mumbled snatching the crutch out of her hand standing up.
"Baby you need to tell me what's wrong." She pleaded with me
"London said I can't get Morgan until I get better." I flexed my jaw
"That's not fair! Babe you need to call your lawyer." She said
"And tell them what? I just got jumped and I can't my daughter!" I said in a duh tone
"Chris that's not fair you need to do something." She said
"I just gotta go to the gym, work on my walking." I mumbled walking over to the sofa where my over night bag was located.
"NO! You JUST got jumped and woken up from a coma, you need to rest." She blocked my path laying her hands flat on my chest.
"I wanna see my daughter just like I can freely see Mimi." I mumbled looking away.
"Then go talk to London!" She yelled
"I can't! She ain't trying to hear it. So if you got a better plan watch out so I can go change." I waved her off
"Fine I'll go talk to her." She rolled her eyes walking out the room.
The woman I choose to have in my life.
*London
"London?!" Someone called my name as we walked down the hall
"Yeah?" I turned around to see Tae standing with her arms crossed
"Why can't Chris have Morgan?" She asked
Excuse the HELL out of me?!
"Because I said so...not that it matters to you or is it any of your business." I faked a smile.
"Why your choice in not letting Chris get Morgan is effecting my house." She pointed at her self
"I don't give a....look girl, I don't care! Take care of your kid and don't worry about mine when she ain't there." I rolled my eyes. Nip put his hand on my lower back in effort to comfort me.
"When are you gonna grow up and stop trying to fight everyone? You always hella salty whenever I'm around. I think you jealous of me." She smirked
"I ain't jealous of you! I could care less about you. I don't like you! It's simple. I'm tired of going toe to toe with you to be honestly so I'm gonna tell you like I told your little boy friend get your life together because you're sick in the head. Don't come up to me again before I become hella 'salty' and beat yo ass!" I mugged her
"Babe calm down." Nip mumbled in my ear
"I'm calm I just want her to know that I ain't playing." I said loudly
She looked taken back and scared, but that's what she get for being big, bad, and bold. I turned on my heels walking ahead of Nip. See what I mean? Ever since Chris walked into my life It's been nothing but hell. I'm tired of girls trying me because of him it's high school all over again. He doesn't do anything about it. That's his problem. But that doesn't have nothing to do with me anymore, I'm done.
"Baby you okay?" Nip caught up to me
"Yeah I'm fine just wanna go home." I mumbled opening the car door for him to put a sleeping Morgan into her car seat.
The car ride was quite, I was too into my thoughts, Chris is like a cancer that keeps growing....and I must cut him out; if not treated right away he gets to your brain and kills you slowly.
We got to the house and Nip grabbed Morgan. P has been gone for weeks on vacation with her mom. I'm glad my baby is having fun. I wish Tae was like Nip baby mama. She know not to try me, but it's like with Tae she has this personal hate towards me for whatever reason, I will never understand. I remember first meeting her in school and every since then she and Chris has made my life bittersweet.....
*FLASH BACK*
I was sitting in history class with Mijo sitting beside me. It was my first whole week in Compton high, and I survived.
The classroom door opened and Tae walked in with her crew, she traveled everywhere with them girls. Rolling my eyes I opened my art magazine waiting for the teach that's never really present to come in. The last and final bell rung and in walked Chris. I've been slick crushing on him since my first day.
"Wassup Mijo." He dapped Mijo up
We never really talk we just smile at each other.
"Hey London." He decided to speak to me today
"Hi Chris." I smiled dimple deep making Mijo poke it. They always talk about my dimples and even went as far as calling me dimples.
"Mr. Brown have a seat!" The computer teacher came in
"You ain't even out teacher bruh." Chris replied slapping hands with Mijo and Ty
"Mr. Brown would you like to take a walk to the office?" Mr. Bates asked
"Nah my legs kinda hurting I'll sit down." He said making every one laugh.
I shook my head putting my head phones in. They clowned around too much for me.
"Now your teacher is sick, so I will be popping in and out to check on you all. She left a packet for you guys to work on" he explained.
Snatching one of my ear buds out Ty asked loudly what I was listening to.
"Tyga...lion....whatever your name is can you back up Shid you too close!" I mugged him
One thing about California people is that their too touchy, I feel like they don't believe in personal space or something.
"Why you being like this dimples?" He asked making Mijo and Chris laugh
"Back up out shawty face." Chris shook his head digging into some breakfast food although we're not suppose to be eating.
"You just pretty." Ty smiled still in my face
"Thank you." I mumbled just taking my head phones out all together.
"So london I was telling Mijo that I'm having a party, you're invited." Chris smiled at me making me blush
"Fosho" I nodded my head
"So Chris word around the school you having a party!" Tae came up to where we were sitting at smacking on some gum.
"Yeah....y'all invited." He said drinking his drink
"She coming?" She pointed at me
"Yes I'm coming and she me her! Has a name." I replied before he could.
"I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Chris." She rolled her eyes
"I don't give two shits who you was talking to yo." I mugged her sitting up
"Yo Tae just chill bruh, you and your girls can come to the party and yes London will be there Iight? Brool out." He gritted through his teeth
"Okay Chris, see you later papi." She winked at him before walking away.
"You okay shawty?" He asked
"I'm fine thank you." I rolled my eyes
"Look my bad ma you ain't gotta worry about her you rocking with me for now on." He winked at me
*END OF FLASH BACK*
And from that day on...my life had been bittersweet. Out of Chris and I relationship a blessing came along with great memories, but NO great memories can make up from the damage he'd done to me. He can say he sorry all he wants but I know he isn't and if he is then he does a half ass job showing that he does. From this day forward I'm DONE trying to repair this friendship/relationship and look at it as it is at that is a co-parent relationship nothing more, nothing less.
