Holding a sleeping Morgan, Nip walked into the fairly large kitchen to meet many eyes.
"Hello." I smiled at mama
"Hi angle. Is this him?" She smiled towards nip
"Yes ma'am this is Nip." I spoke
"Hello." Nip held out my free hand
"Chile I don't do handshakes, I give hugs." She said giving Nip a side hug being that he was holding Morgan.
"Nice to meet you." He blushed
"You too, London told me a lot about you." Mama said placing her hands on her hips.
"All good things I hope." He looked at me
"Nope, I said all bad things." I joked
"Okay punk." He riffled my hair
"You guys are so cute." Mama clapped smiling wild. That meant a lot because like I said before what she thinks mean a lot to me.
"Thank you." I blushed
"Daddy." P tugged tugged on Nip pants leg forcing him to look down
"Yes princess?" He answered
"I play a game on your phone?" She asked
Nip shook his head pulling out his phone handing it to P to play with.
"Aw she's so cute." Mama gushed
"Thank k you." P smiled showing her dimples like her pops
"Oh Nipsey you have a beautiful family." Mama smiled
"Thank you. You have a wonderful home by the way." He looked around
"Thank you honey. Let me get my son and my nephews, I think they out back." Mama said walking to the back
"She's nice." Nip commented
"Yeah, very sweet woman." I smiled as he sat down with Morgan still sleep in his arms.
"Yeah." He pulled me in front of him
"Don't start, were out." I laughed warning him
"Just a kiss." He mumbled
I gave him a quick peck on the lips then played in Morgans hair until the Brown boys game in the house. Yelling.
"Blood I'm telling you, Austin cheated!" Chris basic self yelled when both Austin and Aaron was right next to him.
"Nah, you just can't stomach the thought of me beating you bro!" Austin replied still not aware of 3 other human beings in the kitchen.
"Both y'all suck, so it don't matter!" Aaron laughed grabbing a bottle of water
"Man whatever. Mama need to hurry up I'm ready to eat!" Chris said finally turning around seeing me.
"Oh what's up London" Austin greeted me first
"Chilling." I went to hug him then Aaron
"This is Nipsey, Nip this is Austin and Aaron." I introduced them
"Wassup." Nip replied giving them both a dap all while still holding Morgan.
"And this is Chris." I pointed
They both looked at each other before giving each other a head nod
Morgan made a sound rubbing her eye sitting up.
"Dad!" She looked up at Nip, causing a grown smile speared on his lips
"Yes mama." He whipped her face with his thumb
"Eat." She mumbled rubbing her eye some more than laying back on his chest
"You will Princess." He kissed her forehead
"She slick didn't see me Standing here?" I pouted
"She didn't want you." Nip laughed
"Whatever I had her! She always want me boo." I rolled my eyes
"Yeah okay punk." He replied laughing
Mama J came out from the yard with Chris other little girl and Tae behind her
"Y'all ready to eat?" Mama asked
"Yes." Chris answered first
"Alright London and Tae can y'all set the kids table?" Mama asked
No. I just looked at mama like she had 5 heads. Hell naw.
Nip gave me a little push telling me to go without really saying it.
I grabbed three plates setting them on the little pink table mama had set for the girls while tae grabbed the cups.
"Where P?" I asked
"Oh she's in the living playing with Mariah." Mama answered placing the food on the table.
"Will you go get them?" She asked
I nodded walking into the living room to see them playing house.
"Come and eat ladies." I smiled
"Okay mommy." P said running to my legs
"You Payton mommy?" Chris other daughter asked
"Yes I am baby." I smiled as she grabbed my hand like P and all 3 of us walked in the kitchen.
"Hey daddy." Mariah waved at Chris while he made funny faces at her
I sat P at the table then grabbed Morgan from Nip setting her in the seat.
We all fixed our places and ate in silence. Every once in a while Chris would mug me, And I would mug him right back. What's popping?
"So London where you work?" Austin asked
"I own a art place down town." I said drinking my water
"Oh for real for real? You always liked art" he commented
"Oh that's great. Chris still do art every now and then." Mama put him out
I didn't know that he still drew. In high school Chris was really good at drawing.
"No I don't ma." He mugged
"Oh whatever Chris you just did something the other day." Mama put him in check
"Well I don't no more." He mugged me
Nip placed his hand on my thigh letting me know he seen him and that he was in fact about to act up. I shook my head softly rubbing my thumb along his hand trying to calm him down.
"Brool out Chris." Austin commented catching Nip attention
"I'm BROOL!" Chris said loudly
And now I see what he was doing, I seen nip sit back gritting his teeth something he always did when he was about to cut up. I said a silent prayer to the lord and gods above us, because all hell was about to break out.
