I had a free period coming up next and I remembered spotting a punching bag in the gym cupboard, it was a dusty old thing, but I was sure it would do the job perfectly. I went to the gym to find it empty, and began setting up the equipment when I had it set up to the right I looked down at what I was wearing, converse, a pair of leggings and a t shirt. Sighing I pulled off the jumper I was wearing over my head. As I set the jumper down, I took a breath and focused my thoughts, and cleared my head of any background chatter that may have been happening in my mind.

I had been pummelling the bag for about 40 minutes when I heard a low whistle, and someone stepping forwards across the room to me. I came to an abrupt stop the moment I heard someone else in the room, and began slowing my slightly laboured breaths. Turning around I spied the male PE teacher, who was looking at me impressed "you pack quite a punch" I lifted one arm to hold the other, trailing my fingers lightly up and down it, and shrugged not looking at him
"sorry, I was annoyed, and couldn't leave school, and I'd seen this in here" I gestured to the bag "I thought it would be okay" I trailed off and the teacher smiled at me
"it's fine" he smiled, at me, then looked at me thoughtfully for a moment, "I've been here for 10 minuets, and you haven't stopped yet, and I could hear you, from the office, you didn't stop once" I shrugged not really seeing his point. My breathing had almost returned to normal
"well I was annoyed" I tried to brush off his comments
"how do you feel about joining the Boxing team, we don't have any girls on it yet, I could work on your form with you, and make you great, I think you could win us the championship, I'll help you better your skills, but I must say you work well with the bag," I shook my head politely,
"nah, I'm not a boxer" I smiled and reached down for my jumper as he spoke
"your pretty fast for someone who's not a boxer" over my shoulder, I said
"I never said I wasn't a fighter, I do Krav Maga well, and others not as well. I just do it for fun" I heard him move closer to me and say quietly,
"you have very good stamina for someone who does this for fun" I froze, then recovered my composure
"I train with the best" smiling I put the jumper on, and turned to take down the punch bag as the teacher watched me.
"So if I gave you a weapon you wouldn't know how to use it?" he raised his eyebrows at me I shook my head innocently, then turned to leave, but calling over my shoulder
"not unless it was lethal" he stood open mouthed, watching me as I went.
