*Belles POV*

I wake up and sit up quickly. Taking in my surroundings. I'm in a field, empty except for some trees in the distance.

It's really warm thanks to the exposure from the sun. I look down and see that I'm not wearing any clothes except for my undergarments.

Quickly I try to cover myself up. I look around me, there's another girl beside me. She has blonde hair in curls, and almost perfect skin.

There's a small cut on her neck. Where did she get that? On that note, where am I? And how did I get here?

The last thing I remember is leaving the..ummm..ship yard, and going to my car.

Where do I work again? I slap my head a few times. Think Belle think! I gasp.

"Adam!" The girl next to me stirs and wakes up. "Adam? Who's Adam?" She asks rubbing her eyes.

"My husband! I work in the navy. Adam sent me a text saying that he made dinner. I left the ship I work on. That's the last thing I remember....oh but I need to get home and tell him I'm alright."

I get up from the grass and head towards the woods. "Hey! Do you even know where you're going?"

The blonde girl runs to catch up with me. "No, but I gotta start somewhere." I turn back around, she grabs my shoulder and turns me to face her.

"I-I have a compass on me." She takes off her necklace that was tucked beneath her shirt. "Great! Too bad we don't have a GPS."

"I know that would make finding a road so much easier."

"Oh why didn't I think of that before?! This is an empty field right?"

"Yeah...."

"Since there are trees that way, that means a road should be east of the woods." I quickly head in the other direction.

"Whatever, let's just get some help. I just recently got engaged. My fiance must be freaking out right now."

"Who are you engaged to?"

"Phillip. Oh and I'm Brior Rose. Call me Rose if you like." I shake her hand.

"I'm Belle Hathaway." We keep walking, this field seems almost endless. "So Belle, where are your clothes?"

"I don't know. I woke up like this....hey, look at that." I squat pointing at some tire tracks.

"Tracks!"

"Come on!" We both run following the path left for us. Soon, we end up at a road.

Judging by the direction the car backed out, I follow the south road. Still running with Rose right behind me.

She's lagging a few feet behind. "Come on! We're gonna make it!" Instead of speeding up, she slows down.

I stop and take her arm in mine. "I'm sorry Belle. It's just feels like...I haven't eaten or had some water in a few days."

Her words all of a sudden make me feel really tired and weak. "Same here...I must have not noticed because of uh...adrenaline. But we gotta keep going."

Rose nods and keeps walking. Her walking turns to limping, limping turns to dragging her feet.

We've been walking for at least an hour and a half. Not a single car in sight. I'm tired and I'm getting weaker with each step.

Someone has to come by soon. Anybody. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

It's only because of my Navy training that I've lasted this long. Rose...I'm just glad she still has the energy to walk.
