Chapter 1-Love at First Sight

Chapter 1

It was another boring Monday. The only difference was that it was raining, or should I say pouring. I was gathering my books from my locker when the bell rang for class. I was running to class because the hallways were outside, besides the lockers, when I suddenly bumped into someone.

I ended up dropping one of my books. We both went for it and our hands touched. I stared into his hazel eyes and he stared into mine. He looked so familiar yet I just couldn't put my finger on it. So I picked up my book, mumbled sorry, and left. When I got to class I couldn't help but think about his beautiful hazel eyes, his freckles & how I felt sparks when he touched my hand. I can't have a crush on him, I mean, I just met him.

So I called my friend Peyton and I told her about my encounter and how he looked very familiar.

"Huh, how strange. Let's talk about it later, okay, let's talk about this years trip." she responded.

Every year Peyton and I plan a trip for the summer, like, for example; this year we're going to go camping.

"Let's talk about this at your house, okay?" I pleaded, desperate to go get some fresh air.

She said that was okay but her brother, Spencer, had a few friends, who were also his co-workers over.

When I got to her house we decided that we were going to be camping for three weeks in a campsite an hour or two away from L.A and this year our parents said we were old enough to go by ourselves, but only if at least three others go with us. After our talk, Peyton then made a delicious decision.

"We should think it over on a snack." she said.

"That sounds awesome. Totally!" I responded.

I opened the door and immediately regretted my decision. When I opened the door I saw those hazel brown eyes, freckles and I felt all those sparks all over again.
